On June 6th, 1523 Gustav Vasa ascended to the Swedish throne and declared the secession of Sweden from the Kalmar Union. Since then, Sweden has maintained independence for 500 years! And on June 6th, 1809 a constitution was adopted that abolished absolute monarchy and paved the way for modern democracy. So this date is celebrated as the National Day of Sweden for two reasons!
From June 5th (9:00 GMT) until June 8th (9:00 GMT), play 3 battles using Swedish vehicles (rank III or higher, with an activity of not less than 70%) to receive the “500 Years of Swedish Independence” decal.
Complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions and [Assault] mode. Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → 500 Years of Swedish Independence.
You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customisation menu.

Swedish declared the secession from the Kalmar Union which established by Sweden itself and gain independence, hooray!! I start to wonder when we have decals for austria secession from HRE and AHE.

Sweden did not gain independence 500years ago. 6th of june is the day he became king and liberated Sweden from from being illegally ocupied. Sweden has no independence day. Gaijin pls fix.

Be really nice to see these thumbnail images on the holiday articles as loading screens, maybe they'd be unlocked at 10 battles of 70% activity to unlock?
Its sad that these decals require rank III in order to get them. What is so special to be at rank 3 to get them? Make them stay in decal library and purchasable with GE after the time limit expires.
