The T-72AV (TURMS-T) is a Soviet T-72AV tank modernized for the Syrian army. The TURMS fire control system, developed by the Italian company Officine Galileo, was previously used on C1 Ariete tanks. In the early 2000’s, this fire control system was adopted for the T-72.
The system significantly improves the tank's vision capabilities, thanks to the commander's panoramic sight. It also features a high-quality thermal imaging gunner's sight, which allows the tank to effectively perform combat missions at night and in poor visibility conditions. By 2006, 122 TURMS kits were produced for the Syrian army.
- T-72AV (Rank 6 USSR) - available after the next major update;
- 2000 Golden Eagles;
- Premium account for 15 days.
- Pre-order bonus: unique "Assault rifle" 3d decoration - available after the next major update;
- Pre-order bonus: unique "Desert Lion" title.
In our game, the T-72AV (TURMS-T) is a Premium tank of rank VI, it is part of the special "Pre-order - Т-72AV (TURMS-T) Pack". In combat, the T-72AV (TURMS) combines excellent firepower with new vision capabilities. The commander's panoramic sight provides an all-round view of the battlefield.
The gunner now has one of the best thermal imagers in the game, which gives a great advantage in detecting enemy vehicles not only at night, but also during the day. The T-72AV (TURMS-T) is equipped with Kontakt-1 ERA protection. The disadvantages of the vehicle include the low reverse speed, same as the basic version of the tank, and the absence of guided anti-tank missiles.
However, several types of APFSDS shells and a powerful chemical AP round are capable of defeating any enemy on the ground. It is also worth mentioning that the T-72AV (TURMS-T), like all Premium vehicles in the game, brings additional income in Silver Lions and, most importantly, significantly speeds up the research of any Soviet tank, of any tier - including the top ones!

gaijin, then when could we see a Japanese type 10 or some premium top tier from another nation
War Thunder, the Russian Propaganda Simulator. You guys are really making this game so much fun to play and spend money on.
IHNA SHABABK YA BASHAR
Well I was all geared up to buy a bunch of stuff for my other nations but what's the point anymore. I'll just only play Russia from now on. Thanks for saving me a shit ton of money Gaijin. There's really no point in playing any other nations anymore. It's obvious you only want us to play Russia in this Russian Propaganda Simulator you call a game.
Ladies an gentlemen. From the people who brought you the war crime Panther. We now bring you the genocide T-72AV. That's right now you too can slaughter yor citizens wholesale in the best armor a dictatorship can beg, borrow or steal! Begin your crimes against humanity today with the T-72AV! Chemical weapons not included.
Does it come with barrel bombs and iranian militias?
This is a pretty trashy point considering the soviets and NAZI GERMANY have their tanks in the game, like, bro fr? Clown
Wow can you add some other than another generic t27 that means nothing. My god just camp and shoot the t72 rabbits as they come now.
Ah yes that's what we needed, more stuff for Russia.. who cares about balance when there is money to be made.. 75% winrate for Russia clearly is within okay limits for Gaijin.. just like the Ka-50 and 52 are performing just fine.
Oh for crying out loud not another darn t72, if you guys are going to be giving the Russians for T72 then you better stop pairing Germany with Russia! >:v
Why? Why is this not in the base tech tree? What reason could there possibley be for this tank to not be somewhere in the tech tree. I already own all of the russian "T" series, so why make this one unobtainable. Why would i waste my money on this tank when the top tier line up is already FULL of multiple "T" sereies that i dont have to buy and are better?
Amazing machine. I will take it.
