The T-72AV (TURMS-T) is a Soviet T-72AV tank modernized for the Syrian army. The TURMS fire control system, developed by the Italian company Officine Galileo, was previously used on C1 Ariete tanks. In the early 2000’s, this fire control system was adopted for the T-72.
The system significantly improves the tank's vision capabilities, thanks to the commander's panoramic sight. It also features a high-quality thermal imaging gunner's sight, which allows the tank to effectively perform combat missions at night and in poor visibility conditions. By 2006, 122 TURMS kits were produced for the Syrian army.
- T-72AV (Rank 6 USSR) - available after the next major update;
- 2000 Golden Eagles;
- Premium account for 15 days.
- Pre-order bonus: unique "Assault rifle" 3d decoration - available after the next major update;
- Pre-order bonus: unique "Desert Lion" title.
In our game, the T-72AV (TURMS-T) is a Premium tank of rank VI, it is part of the special "Pre-order - Т-72AV (TURMS-T) Pack". In combat, the T-72AV (TURMS) combines excellent firepower with new vision capabilities. The commander's panoramic sight provides an all-round view of the battlefield.
The gunner now has one of the best thermal imagers in the game, which gives a great advantage in detecting enemy vehicles not only at night, but also during the day. The T-72AV (TURMS-T) is equipped with Kontakt-1 ERA protection. The disadvantages of the vehicle include the low reverse speed, same as the basic version of the tank, and the absence of guided anti-tank missiles.
However, several types of APFSDS shells and a powerful chemical AP round are capable of defeating any enemy on the ground. It is also worth mentioning that the T-72AV (TURMS-T), like all Premium vehicles in the game, brings additional income in Silver Lions and, most importantly, significantly speeds up the research of any Soviet tank, of any tier - including the top ones!

But... why?
no discount for this pack? so sad... :(
I kinda understand what they`re tryig to do, all nations have premiums around 9.0, only USSR don`t, if I think this should be added, no, but I was expecting they would add this kind of think for some time. On the bright side there are lots of ppl who gt them and don`t have a lyneup, so it`s a ballancing fator, cuz they`ll die and log out.
THANK YOU OH MIGHTY SNAIL! THIS IS THE BEST THING!
Will this be 50% off in the sales?
Nope.
Does the commander's sight have thermal or just night vision? It would be nice if at least 1 russian tank had a CITV(commander's independent thermal viewer).
Could you plese state at what BR it will be? Its nice that it T6 but if it sits above 9.7, its pointless prem tank as itll get smacked by 10.7 and thus not worth it.
Who needs research?When prime tanks are better than silver tanks or Helicopters Need a bag full of money to enjoy?
ok just let me ask one thing WHY ... it is not like I wouldnt like to play T72s I love them but there are othere nation that need the time much more then the ussr/russia like the chinese dont even have a radar spaa let alone a SAM(and there top MBT is 9.7.....) its not like you would help the gameplay this patch a mobile fast tank for the british the FlaRakRad that ,at least I hope so, will be better then the Roland the new grafik and the 21bis to push against the F4 but anothere T72 :I
There is going to be more Abrams right? Americans are the only ones with a lineup near close enough to handle all these T72s, T80s, etc., and there is only two TOP tier MBTs for them... M1a1 and M1A2.. Might as well not count the M1.. the M1IP might be able to be counted with the M833.. Russias lineup is way too big, especially compared to the other countries Gaijin.
And giving the M1's some actual realistic armor packs and values right
