Following the Roadmap: Sons of Attila Roadmap implementations and some Postponements

Hey everyone! In today’s major update “Sons of Attila”, we introduced a number of Roadmap features that were previously promised. Since there’s a vast amount, we thought it would be a good idea to compile and round-up each change from the changelog into one article, so that you can clearly see what has been added. We’ve also added tables of summarized and detailed information about parameter changes and in addition to this, some postponements that we need to make. So, let’s dive into the details!

Meet Major Update “Sons of Attila”!

A vast amount of vehicles, fixes and anticipated Roadmap additions have now been implemented! Flagship jets: F-16C Block 50, Barak II and MiG-29SMT, plus jets for other nations. Italy has gained the Hungarian branch, which includes 11 ground vehicles starting from the Csaba and ending at the KF41, as well as 3 helicopters. The first South Korean vehicle, the VIDAR — which arrives as an export variant used by Norway — also comes to the Swedish tree! The visual effects of wind, smoke and ammo detonations plus more have also been improved, as well as a rank VI Bluewater and 3 premium Battleships have arrived. Two new maps, including the return of “Test Site — 2271”, are also here.

Barak II: Lightning Over The Desert

In the “Sons of Attila” major update, an Israeli modification of the F-16D two-seater fighter jet, lock and loaded to use modern high-precision weapons, will come to the top of the Israeli aircraft research tree as a flagship jet!

The YP-38 is back for the Anniversary of its first Flight!

The YP-38, a prototype of the American heavy two engine fighter Lockheed P-38 Lightning, took to the skies for the first time on September 17th, 1940. The P-38 was the only aircraft that was mass produced in the US throughout the entire World War II. It was actively used as a fighter on the Pacific Theatre, and also did a lot of reconnaissance over Europe.

Leclerc AZUR: Action In Urban Areas

A special version of the already well-known Leclerc MBT! The AZUR variant is fitted for urban combat environments, and will be coming to the French ground forces tree at the end of the Leclerc MBT line in the Sons of Attila major update!

SEPECAT Jaguar: For The Common Cause

In the early 1960s, France needed a new combat-capable trainer aircraft to breathe new life into their aging fleet of fighters. Fortunately for them, the UK was facing the exact same predicament. Because of that, two nations decided to solve the problem together and launched one of the first major joint military aircraft programs in Europe: the program to develop the Jaguar.

Updated RWR — More realism and features!

Today, we’re going to tell you about the work that we have been doing to improve Radar Warning Receivers (RWR)! These improvements will come to the game very soon in the next major update, “Sons of Attila”!

Super Etendard: Thirsty For Battle

The Super Etendard is a fast and maneuverable aircraft that can be configured for all types of combat: ground strikes as well as air combat. This interesting aircraft will appear in the French research tree in the upcoming “Sons of Atilla” major update!
