Paintball is a sport for true adrenaline junkies! Put on your helmets, grab your paintball gun, don’t forget your gear and head to the arena. Stay alert, stay behind cover, and don’t forgive your opponents for their mistakes, whether in a competitive match or in our new tank event dedicated to the T-72B3 “Arena”!
From until , earn mission points in Ground Battles, unlock stages and receive rewards!
One of the areas of further modernization for the T-72B3 tank was equipping it with modern active protection systems. A variant of the tank equipped with an Arena family active protection system was demonstrated at the RAE-2013 exhibition in Nizhny Tagil. This system complements the T-72B3’s already good level of protection. The Arena is capable of engaging incoming guided missiles on approach, destroying them with a fragmentation field several meters from the T-72B3’s armor. This modification is equipped with a ChTZ V-84-1 diesel engine and Kontakt-5 ERA.
Among the rewards in the event is also this chest. When opened, there is a chance to receive one of the following items:
- 50,000 - 100,000 Silver Lions
- Silver Lion and Research Point boosters
- Random Wagers and Orders
- Universal Backups (1 - 3)
- A random camouflage for a vehicle you own
- 1 day of Premium Account
How to get all rewards
Each stage can be achieved for 45,000 mission points, every new stage achieved will give you a new reward.
Please note: After finishing a stage, you need to collect the reward manually. To do this, click on your name in-game, go to “Paintball Arena” and click the “Get Reward” button.
You’re able to earn mission points in Ground Battles at Rank III or above in Arcade, Realistic and Simulator Battles. The number of mission points to complete a stage depends on the game mode and the maximum Rank of the vehicle that you use in battle. There’s a multiplier for earning mission points, which is shown in the task description in-game.
You can also earn mission points by using event vehicles that are Rank I and II. Event vehicles that can be used have the name of the event that they were obtainable in on their stat card.
Stages change every two days at 11:00 GMT on

The first event of the year, and we get essentially a copy-paste tank with a worse engine and side armor for a situational active protection system. Such a boring way to start the year; hopefully it won't reflect the rest of the year's events, right? Right?
But what does this have to do with paintball?
Why is this an event vehicle? It's identical to the T-72 Arena APS already in the tech tree. Any other T-72 variant would have been more appropiate for an event vehicle and now we're not gonna get one any time soon.
Just a note of what makes this objectively worse than the T-72B3 (11.7) and T-72B3A (12.3, which is way too high): -Worse engine than the T-90A (840HP vs 1000HP) -No Relikt ERA on the front plate or sides (under the ERA bags) -Same meh gun handling, only made worse by even worse mobility -Situational (at best) APS (having spaded the B3A, the APS only saw 2 uses in nearly 250 games) Incredibly poor vehicle choice. It's not anything unique, just a worse variant of an already bad overtiered...
...If you don't have appropriate vehicles to put in events, please rerun old ones instead, especially non-tradeable ones like the Soviet P-63A-10. Well, at least I'll be able to play ARB in peace, because this is worthless.
I don't want to be negative but come on, really?
Many CCs have been hyping this event up, predicting all the fancy and fun event tanks we can possible get. There are so many good options yet they went with the most pointless one.
Honestly, the Leopard 2 with the 140mm tank would have been a far better choice, sure people would protest a bit cus it's German but come on, this is nothing special honestly.
my god.... we went from 30 000 pts every 2 days, to 45 000 every 2 day, in less than a year.....
Points depends on vehicle's rank. This one is Rank VII vehicle, so it require 45000 pts.
10 T-72 in the Trees. why another one? there are so many lower BR Tanks that could be added
