It’s the final stretch for our WTCS teams, with the third major of the year being full of twists and turns! Four teams are making their introduction in the overall rankings, and they are determined to earn their place in the Grand Finals at the end of the year. Everything will be decided during the playoffs of the Third WTCS Air Superiority Major Tournament, which is being played in 4v4 jet mode with the latest generation of aircraft! Who do you think will dominate the competition and the skies this year?
Team DODEC
Currently second in the overall WTCS league standings, Team DODEC finished fourth in the Q1 qualifying rounds. Their aggressive and strategic style of play makes them a formidable team in this competition.
Team AVReS
Team AVReS is currently at the top of the leaderboard with a total score of 256 points and has already secured its place in this year’s Grand Final! This major is a training opportunity for them, as well as a chance to win Thrustmaster prizes!
Team Voyager
This is the first team to qualify for this Major! Team Voyager, formerly AVRVG, is taking flight and dominating the skies. Currently fourth in the overall rankings, Team Voyager is looking to consolidate its position!
Team COVERT
A first in the WTCS! Team COVERT makes a stunning entrance into the competition. A team of seasoned players who strike fear into their opponents, they will need to finish in the top positions in this major if they want to have a chance of participating in the Grand Final.

Team XTREM
With a string of great matches, Team XTREM managed to qualify during the first weekend. This team has the potential to shake up the competition at the end of the year, which has plenty of surprises in store for us.
Team FiveSticks
Led by their captain OpsBan65_, this new team had an overwhelming run in the second phase of qualifying, dominating the entire losers bracket and securing their place in the playoffs. FiveSticks are considered the underdogs in this competition! But watch out, first place is within their reach.
Team WastedTime
Currently ninth in the overall standings, WastedTime Team aren’t here to waste their time and are determined to win this third Major. This team is made up of fierce players who have all the skills needed to dominate this competition.
Team Ouroboros
A new team that managed to dominate all winner’s brackets in the second qualifying phase. A mysterious team with very good players that will surely continue to make headlines for a long time to come. Welcome to the WTCS!

It doesn't have to be exclusively historical either. At this point most of the jets have multiple e-sport skins. There are a lot of other vehicles in the game that literally have nothing but their default skin.
