Recently, Bluewater fleet naval trees were extended to rank VII, and as a result we’ve now updated the research system to make progression faster and more balanced overall. The infographic shows the updated cost for researching and purchasing Bluewater fleet ships at each rank for each nation.
The cost of researching and purchasing Bluewater fleet ships at ranks I-VII has been altered (generally reduced). Values of the following parameters have been changed: the purchase price in Silver Lions, the crew cost, the Expert crew price, the price of modifications in Silver lions, the amount of research points needed to research a vessel, and the amount of research points needed to unlock modifications.
Note that the calculations do not take into account grouped vehicles, since their research and purchase are not required to advance through the Bluewater fleet research trees.

This needs to be done to coastal as well, especially at the top end, I stopped playing coastal because the grind to unlock and spade upper half of the trees is insane.
this is very welcome news. did you guys happen to take a look at coastal as well? i have a hard time grinding out high tiers there. also, will this change happen in time for the event? either way, good stuff. cheers guys!
And for coastal? The problem there is even more severe bc of the lack of other coastal players and they stand no chance against bluewater ships
Thank you, this was needed. Please continue imporing naval, experiment with new ideas of yours or from forum. You can always reverse the gameplay mecanics.
Is this something new coming in the next update, or live right now?
We have implemented it now.
Thats nice. Bur please consider to decrease the xp you need in coastal too. When Rank 4 starts it takes forever to spade and grind out. And we talk about boats with small guns that almost cant do anything against real ships and only hang around a BR of 3.3 upwards
This might actually make me play naval
wow, that's huge! more of this please. would especially like to see necessary mods such as the best missiles on tier 6+ planes be much cheaper or available at tier 2-3 instead of 4.
Finally some big change for naval tech tree in the game....and it is very positive.....but you need to work lot more on balancing maps, mechanic of damaging ships, laging of servers what is huge problem in the game, and long range shooting on huge maps.....and to reduce AI vessels accuracy becuase in many siutation AI ships steal players kills and sometime one shoot player ship on start of the game. But hey at least one huge good change.
