When Emperor Meiji regained real power, he decided to introduce a national holiday to honor the emperors. The occasion was the accession to the throne of Jimmu, the legendary first ruler of Japan. In 1872, this day was celebrated on the first day of the Lunar year, which then fell on January 29th, but the following year Japan switched to the Gregorian calendar, and February 11th was chosen as the date. In 1966, the date was again decided to be a holiday, but instead was given the different and less imperial name of National Foundation Day.

Stona_WT, You my good friend are a legend
Speaking of decals.. what happened to that norwegian air force roundel you were adding with the F-5 event? could you PLEASE add that as a new decal / replace the old roundel? I've been using the old one for years now and it looks awful as it's all scratched up..
Is the J2M4 Kai engine fixed now? Supposedly it has a more powerful engine, but in game it climbs like a brick compared to the other J2Ms.
Umm there's nothing on the social media sites? unless I am missing something
Follow our SM channels, we will publish the info soon™
