History and Legend
Feasts honoring St. Andrew dates back to the year 1000 AD, and the holiday has been observed throughout Scotland for more than a millennium. Ever since, St. Andrew has grown to be a vital component of Scottish culture. The ancient town of St. Andrews was given its name because it is purported to be the ultimate resting place of St. Andrew.

Is there any reason the Scottish flag was removed from purchase earlier? Always felt a bit odd that considering it's one of the few flags that have been hidden from players.
It was not removed. It was never there (except special occasions).
Any chance for the other UK flags, maybe England for St. George's day, Wales for St. David's day, perhaps even Northern Ireland for St. Patrick's? As a Brit main I want to have them all on my vehicles!
