The Yak-38 Is Back for Its Maiden Flight Anniversary and Is Here to Stay
On September 22nd, 1970 the Soviet VTOL light strike aircraft Yak-38 performed its maiden flight — it was the first operational carrier-based VTOL fixed-wing aircraft in the Soviet Navy. It was designed especially for Project 1143 heavy aviation cruisers and served almost exclusively on them.

About the aircraft
- The Yak-38 is a versatile aircraft that is great at attacking targets both in the air, on the ground, and in the sea, as it has access to powerful S-24B rockets, Kh-23M AGMs and R-60 AAMs. Its ability to perform vertical takeoff and landing opens up new tactical possibilities, and it reaches its max speed very quickly!

It was removed?
Awesome news! Hopefully start seeing this happen more often with some of the packs that were removed I.e. would live that Italian helicopter and many others added again as GE vehicles.
Awesome! Since this is a russia aircraft, i wanted to ask a question. Will the Mig-21Bis ever get rocket assisted take-off modification into the game?

Ah yes soviet V-tol.
One of my favourite vehicles of all time, thank you for bringing it back to the game for everyone to try out and buy outright! I love using it in customs especially, it really gives a feeling of being both a helicopter and a plane! I had to grind a lot of soviet planes to get to it so having a premium version available at the start is always awesome!
