Based on the feedback from the YouTube community and from content creators, as well as after analyzing the occupancy of players in sessions of specific ranks, we have decided to make changes to how the matchmaking works and will implement them in the near future (without additional announcements).
Additional settings will be added to ground RB in sessions of BR 9.3 and above that will make battles of top ranked vehicles more intense but will slightly increase the average waiting time of finding a battle. When a player selects a session and joins the queue, the matchmaking system takes many factors into account. Now the number of players in battles on large maps will on average become larger than before, although waiting times might somewhat increase. We’re also looking into an option to change matchmaking settings depending on the number of users in the game; this will possibly let us achieve a more comfortable waiting time for the battle to start, as well as improve matching quality, leading to more players joining battles.
Similar changes have already been made in air RB in March this year. We hope you will appreciate this improvement in ground RB as well, and after the implementation of these changes we will continue to monitor matchmaking closely and will make necessary adjustments in real time if necessary.

I really hope a Reward for the top players of the losing team will be added becouse with more players individual actions don't mater has much anymore
Top tier battles are already very chaotic in a 16 vs 16 format, adding even more players will only take the fun away for everyone, especially for new players reaching such BRs. Nobody enjoys driving for 10 seconds only to suddenly get shot at from 4 different directions. In my experience, top tier battles are actually more enjoyable when there are fewer players, 8vs8 being the optimal format. So please reduce the numbers of players per battles at top tier instead of increasing them.
what about 8.3 and 8.7 tanks that get up up tiered to 9.3 to 9.7 some of them have no laser range finder and thermals :(
It means that 8.3 is currently even worst to play?
and now i'd love to Gaijin Inc. decrease the player count back to 12v12 in air rb since it's a lot more chaotic and sometimes it's way too hard to clutch or try to win when the team is already falling way too early. AND, please revert back to small map on air rb below 10.3 br (it's getting horrendeusly boring when i have to play the same 5 map for thousands matches oh and please, no EC at that br would be really great), overall, i hope this game will be better and enjoyable in quality of the gam
A very welcome change, the more, the merrier! 8v8 in top tiers (9.7-11.7 GRB) was getting slightly boring, one-leavers also made it worse. Thanks for going through the suggestions. ^_^
In addition they will have to place more objectives throughout the map in realistic areas and not concentrate them in the center of the map. If you use an a-10 or an attacker, when you try to land before you get there you either die or spend all your time trying to get there.
I dont remember anyone asking for this....
I dont want to sound like a party pooper here but would it matter if theres more people in high tier matches? when they leave after 1 death anyway
Get did of missile drones and more people might actually want to play top tier ground RB. At the moment they're just revenge lol machines.
