Dear players,
Firstly, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies to each and every one of you. We deeply regret the fact that our actions have let you down, and that we have failed to adequately address the concerns you have voiced over time. We share your passion for the game, and it pains us that our decisions have not lived up to your expectations.
Over the past week, we've been diligently analyzing the feedback you've provided. We acknowledge and agree with your concerns regarding the balance of the economy (Silver Lions and Research Points), as well as modification research. We have therefore prioritized addressing these issues as our immediate concern.
We are in the process of creating a plan to tackle these problems. While we have made some initial progress in understanding the scope of these issues and potential solutions, we anticipate providing a more detailed roadmap by the 14th of June.
We understand the urgency you feel for changes to be implemented, and we assure you, we share your eagerness. However, given the scale and complexity of a project like War Thunder, some time is required to ensure that any changes we make are both effective and beneficial to the player experience.
We are also continually reviewing the vast array of other feedback and suggestions we receive. Rest assured, these are important to us and will be addressed, but at this moment, our first priority remains the game's economics and progression.
We are truly sorry for the disappointment and frustration that we have caused. We commit to you that we are doing everything we can to improve the game, and regain your trust.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We value your continued support and your dedication to the game we all love.

Comments will be premoderatedAs someone who has only a few months ago got back into the game after a time of inactivity, I really enjoyed WT. I was only at 3.0 GRB at that time, and as a F2P player, the grind was hard, especially because I was inexperienced and new to the current updates. Joining a squad gave the game new life to me, and I’ve met great members of the WT community who truly love the game. I have great hope for how this game can improve for players like me and new ones to come. Can’t wait to see the plan!
The AB squadron battles community will never forget and sends its regards...
Finnaly listening to the community
and then once you get this fixed, (doubtful since ive been lied to before) can we get the Czecholslovakia tree, polish tree and canada/commonwealth tree added to the game pls. along with a bunch of other things that need fixed, some of which people like spookstoon has highlighted...
I understand the part of you paying servers, programmers ect... BUT you have to think about free to play players
Hopefully some worthwhile actions will be taken to significantly improve the state of the economy for premium or regular players. And... that we aren't just being lied to for the last time.
I feel like this could be a really great starting point for something new, and constructive. Seeing some actions being taken in the direction of what the playerbase values the most, is actually the step we need to gain back the trust we want to put into this game. I sincerely hope we can establish a positive relationship from now on, where we feel important to you, and you and your work both feel valued and rewarded. I hope we can all get there, while building on a working communication.
I will say, in my experience over the years being a part of this community, when a change has been planned and there is public outcry about it, due to one reason or another, gaijin generally listens and usually comes to a compromise benefitting both sides. I am hopeful that is will be no different, however things have progressively been getting slightly worse over time for the economy in general. I genuinely look forward to the proposed road map you plan to outline coming July 14th. Thank you
that's a good first step now all you have to do is deliver on those promises
Could there possibly be a multiplier for those who spent money on the game? a 5% permanent boost per level of money spent that stacks.
