Dear players,
Firstly, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies to each and every one of you. We deeply regret the fact that our actions have let you down, and that we have failed to adequately address the concerns you have voiced over time. We share your passion for the game, and it pains us that our decisions have not lived up to your expectations.
Over the past week, we've been diligently analyzing the feedback you've provided. We acknowledge and agree with your concerns regarding the balance of the economy (Silver Lions and Research Points), as well as modification research. We have therefore prioritized addressing these issues as our immediate concern.
We are in the process of creating a plan to tackle these problems. While we have made some initial progress in understanding the scope of these issues and potential solutions, we anticipate providing a more detailed roadmap by the 14th of June.
We understand the urgency you feel for changes to be implemented, and we assure you, we share your eagerness. However, given the scale and complexity of a project like War Thunder, some time is required to ensure that any changes we make are both effective and beneficial to the player experience.
We are also continually reviewing the vast array of other feedback and suggestions we receive. Rest assured, these are important to us and will be addressed, but at this moment, our first priority remains the game's economics and progression.
We are truly sorry for the disappointment and frustration that we have caused. We commit to you that we are doing everything we can to improve the game, and regain your trust.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We value your continued support and your dedication to the game we all love.

Comments will be premoderatedGaijin, You now have a huge chance to set a massive precedent for the future of how games treat their players. As well as a chance to turn this PR nightmare into a victory at the end of it all. DO. NOT. BLOW IT. I enjoy I care about the game too much to see it go out like this. Good luck and thank you for taking the first step. I hope the June 14th changes go amazing!
just return the engage points and everything you cut off from the game, and this will need at least a month lol.
Free up gaijin, ball is in there court
I often stop and wonder, why did it have to come down to this? There could have been better ways from both sides to approach this, but sometimes it must be taken to its breaking point.
I hope this works I really don't want this game to die.
Sure, the economy is not that great, but I feel like much bigger problem is in the gameplay: 1. Unkillable ka-50s. You cant damage them after they have been killed, and they easly kill you while they fly after getting destroyed. 2. Scouting and tank rendering not working 3. Shells still disappear after hitting in between plates 4. Russian mbts taking 0 damage from penetrating hits from side These are the main ones I encounter but there are many more.
Can we see some steps towards new approach in getting feedback from the community? Open rules of selection for things that get passed to devs and no throttling of issues like it is now? Most of valid suggestions rot in the suggestion section for years without any information about the chances to get passed as feedback to devs.
Good snail. Maybe I will buy some more premium time, after all :) No, really, revise this and make both the SL and RP grind a little better. Also rewards for air/ground Sim are very lacking, and imo should be at least increased twice or more. Heli EC tho... It should get 4 times more RP, or even more than that. really. Grinding through helicopters sucks.
The funny part of all this, is that all of this could have been simply avoided if you released some poll on if it was a good idea to add or not. I have played 10k hours + and i'm telling you that most if not all ''less than optimal'' changes that lead to these situations could have simply been avoid by releasing a poll on if the community wanted it or not.
While I do not understand fully the changes that were proposed and why it was such an issue I have followed along with posts and videos and hearing the opinions of players and developers and am glad that and understanding is being reached. I hate it when kids are arguing with the parents. Thank you for understanding the players concerns, listening, and showing empathy toward us being detached from your player base is a bad move in any case. Shows alot of respect when you do listen.
