Dear players,
Firstly, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies to each and every one of you. We deeply regret the fact that our actions have let you down, and that we have failed to adequately address the concerns you have voiced over time. We share your passion for the game, and it pains us that our decisions have not lived up to your expectations.
Over the past week, we've been diligently analyzing the feedback you've provided. We acknowledge and agree with your concerns regarding the balance of the economy (Silver Lions and Research Points), as well as modification research. We have therefore prioritized addressing these issues as our immediate concern.
We are in the process of creating a plan to tackle these problems. While we have made some initial progress in understanding the scope of these issues and potential solutions, we anticipate providing a more detailed roadmap by the 14th of June.
We understand the urgency you feel for changes to be implemented, and we assure you, we share your eagerness. However, given the scale and complexity of a project like War Thunder, some time is required to ensure that any changes we make are both effective and beneficial to the player experience.
We are also continually reviewing the vast array of other feedback and suggestions we receive. Rest assured, these are important to us and will be addressed, but at this moment, our first priority remains the game's economics and progression.
We are truly sorry for the disappointment and frustration that we have caused. We commit to you that we are doing everything we can to improve the game, and regain your trust.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We value your continued support and your dedication to the game we all love.

Comments will be premoderatedhope the changes will entice me to play more than 10 ground matches in a year. so maybe i dont go broke trying to get guud and can figure things out without stressing about how much am i gonna loose this match. good apology... im looking forward to the plan on the14th. pause the review bombing, call off the hogs and phantoms.
This is a good step but given the history of NEVER listening to the player base I am skeptical until actions are taken. The grind and ridiculous repair costs have been issues for YEARS.
it's nice to read a text written by a human. Hopefully real changes will follow!
I believe another substantial change is necessary and that is one of openess. Gaijin needs to start offering us, the players, statistics and data on how the vehicles performs and how much they are used, best of all would be via an API. This would once and for all proove to everyone that there is no "russian bias" and also help the community see for themselves that everything is balanced, given that Gaijin has told us the truth. This would have larger positive effects than 500 characters can tell
You guys are probably aware, but Tim's Variety on youtube published a very detailed video "10 Steps To Fix The Economy In War Thunder" This might be a good food for thought in the dev process. If anything, just please think about it! It has many good ideas.
Israel mains who played $60 per premium vehicle, are asking for a decent SPAA, some LTs and IFVs, and they get 2 Magachs this update? This is a spit in players' faces. Nice apology, will make my reviews even harsher after this.
Come on, man, I agree Israel needs more love, but all this is about a lot more than your specific preferred nation 🤨 Don't get target-fixated on one clump of trees when the whole forest's at stake in all this O.o
Good to see that you are acknowledging this issue I hope you can create a resolve that helps everyone in some sort of way.
For me WT and Enlisted are my favorite games, and i believe in them, thank you.
Cheers!
The fact that you guys need 3 weeks to put together a "road map" is already an amazingly bad sign that you didn't actually have any plans at all to fix the game's numerous issues, some of which have persisted for years, some of which have been here since the game launched. (Realistic Battle being a game of counter strike with a bomb that doesn't work.) Nobody seriously believes this post at face value.
Fix RP/SL. They are nowhere near where they should be. Decompress the BRs. Current BR compression is garbage and forces the spamming of premium vehicles. Make Parts/FPS/Counter Measures free and immediately unlocked when buying a vehicle. It's an absolute garbage mechanic tp force us to grind through tons of games to unlock the basics. There is so much that needs to be done. You guys have really just kept piling on crap after crap. Fix it so the game doesn't die.
