On the 20th of December 1941, a Chinese air force unit of volunteers from the United States under the informal designation "Flying Tigers" received its first baptism of fire. The “Tigers” had to repel an attack of Japanese bombers flying from the south towards the Burma road, which was of strategic importance for supply delivery to China.
In this raid, the fighter group opened its own battle count and the Japanese were unable to deliver their bombs to their target, instead, turning and fleeing whilst losing four aircraft.
Feel like one of the legendary squadron pilots in the P-40 series fighter!

Couldn't have created an ACTUAL mission I mean the flying tigers were apart of a secret mission where American pilots were sent to China and fought against the Japanese in an attempt to prolong Japans war efforts on the mainland before America took a side, it would have been better to do like the old Battle of Britain micro events and make a new one for it there's maps based in China so it wouldn't be that hard make a contest out of it with the custom mission creation community.
I do like these little mini-events, especially since we can do this one with some of the minor nations rather than just Big-3. I'm a little sad that there are no random camos though. :-( I just like collecting camouflages for my vehicles.
RB is not working x 2
The P-40E-1 TD from the Twitch Drop is listed as counting for the event here, but doesn't count for the event in-game. v_v
What an absolute joke. 20 kills with specific vehicles for a booster? I can buy them from the warbond shop. I thought it was gonna be for a cool camo or atleast the "flying tigers" decal. Very disappointed.
What a waste
The thought is nice but why not offer a little tidbit like a skin, title, icon for these historical events instead of boosters? They are not worth playing for most people with just the boosters.
