On the 20th of December 1941, a Chinese air force unit of volunteers from the United States under the informal designation "Flying Tigers" received its first baptism of fire. The “Tigers” had to repel an attack of Japanese bombers flying from the south towards the Burma road, which was of strategic importance for supply delivery to China.
In this raid, the fighter group opened its own battle count and the Japanese were unable to deliver their bombs to their target, instead, turning and fleeing whilst losing four aircraft.
Feel like one of the legendary squadron pilots in the P-40 series fighter!

LONG LIVE the fighters and heros who fought for liberty and freedom against the Fascism and Imperialism.
and communism!
I really like these historical events. It's only a pitty that with battlepass, Operation Winter , etc these below rank 3 events will be overlooked.
Agreed although i guess you can use the premium P-40C for the tier 2 event credit. But yeah, already grinding the main event and getting another 20 kills with vehicles that won't earn me any credit isn't going to happen for a booster.
Alexsis8, Yeah I just figured that out and now I'm really really annoyed.
Chrismas discounts when?
chrismas
The Soviet Union also supported a large number of pilots for China and we never forget. Hope next time Gaijin will have an event on the anniversary.
