Getting ready for the major update!
All forces have been thrown into battle to please you before the festive holidays with the “Winged Lions” update. We have already started to tell you about the new features, including new mechanics with scouting aircraft in naval battles and improvements to the effects which will depend on the weather and wind in battles.
But we also have something for the “It’s fixed” digest…
Reminder about the history of vehicles
War Thunder has thousands of vehicles and over a hundred event vehicles that you might get thanks to big events and marathons. You have some of them for sure on your account. To ensure that the memory of the achievement for which you have received it will not be forgotten, the name of the event during which it was issued will now be displayed in the vehicle card of such vehicles.
In the near future such vehicles will receive some preferences - stay tuned.
Fixing graphical defects
For the maximum enjoyment from the game it is important to maintain the atmosphere of immersion in battle. Graphical artifacts and similar bugs spoil the atmosphere so we are paying attention to fix these problems.
So, the “square” puddles in Poland and Eastern Europe will no longer catch the eye. Also, the displaying of oceans and seas in air battles will no longer be cut off at range for those who are playing using the lowest graphic settings. Even the shadow of the decorations installed on armoured vehicles and naval vessels is now correctly displayed while you are in the hangar.
Refining missiles after changes
Can you remember the recent update where we made some noticeable improvements to the physics of the SACLOS/MCLOS missiles?
We noticed your comments about the “Starstreak” missiles whose maneuverability noticeably dropped when the darts were separated from the upper stage. The problem was alleviated by increasing the disposable overload and readjusting the rocket’s solid propellant engine. Check it out!
Xbox
Xbox One and Xbox One S owners were also not left without good news. After launching the game on these consoles there was an unfortunate problem with low.quality textures. The bug has been fixed!
More improvements

Joke. Next time before you say IT IS FIXED, can you make sure you have played and tested it in game? Stomer Starstreak is still total unplayable. How can you aim a plane when your missile is out of your site most of time? Shall I remind you that thing has no VT?
I mean sight when you zoom in
Stormer is trash. And on top of that it has high repair cost and should not be 10.3, could kill tanks for a while but that was quickly *fixed*
Nice goin Gaijin, my game is all up to date and installed this "its fixed" and no change in the stormer. the addition to its fixed is a great idea if you actually fix something. please test things before putting them on the live server.
Tried to take out my British Apache for a spin today. Oh the disappointed on my face when the Starstreaks couldn't even hit a stationary target. The gunners sight is still broken while zoomed in by the way. But you already knew that because I submitted a bug report ages ago, (that suddenly just disappeared). But hey, I guess that's the reward for grinding hours to get my favorite chopper, something broken and borderline unusable :(
When can we expect a fix to Mig-21 MF, SMT where Flare pod blocks the airbrakes. It has been reported when it was on DEV server as incorrect. Ever since nothing has been fixed. PFM has gunpod and there it was fixed. The same logic applies to MF, SMT. Not sure if German BIS has flare pod but if it should be fixed.
Would be great. The German BIS also has the same flare pod but for some reason it can deploy the airbrake.

Any plans on fixing the two minute wait after the last player is killed in air battles? Event vehicles having a little tag telling you about what event you could get them in is neat though.
Wiesel 1A2 still has bad model in game. Gunner should protrude from the vehicle not think about life inside of it
Yup, I was sure they'd do that. UDES-33 and many other tanks have their gunner outside... but nah, germany *suffers* enough. They probably cried on forums again

About events, will it be possible to have back some of the tank from previous events like the Surblindé or Lorraine and stuff like that, almost nobody use them in battle they are so rare :(.
