We are happy to inform you that in one of the future War Thunder updates a new playable nation will appear - Israel! Despite its youth, the Israeli armed forces are rightfully considered one of the most combat-ready armies in the world, and Israel's military forces are an interesting alloy of foreign vehicles with advanced domestic machines.
In the upcoming War Thunder update "Ground Breaking", two premium aircraft from the early access packs will be added to the Israeli aviation lineup. The owners of the packs will be the first to get access to the closed beta testing of the aviation tech tree of the new playable nation, that will begin in the next major update after the upcoming “Ground Breaking” update. Prior to Israeli aviation CBT, early access pack owners will be able to participate in aircraft random battles and prepare their crews!
Spitfire LF Mk IXe by Ezer Weizman
One of the most successful modifications of the legendary Spitfire in the livery of the personal aircraft of Ezer Weizman, a RAF veteran pilot, who later became the commander of the Israeli Air Force, and subsequently became the president of the nation!
In addition to the perfect maneuverability and excellent speed at low and medium altitudes, this aircraft carries 8 cm Flz.-Rakete Oerlikon rockets, unique to the game, with a shaped-charged warhead and an armor penetration value up to 300mm.
A-4E Skyhawk (Late)
A late Israeli modification of one of the best strike aircraft in the game! The aircraft features a new armament of 2х30mm DEFA guns, a parachute, and an elongated tail. The premium Skyhawk carries a large payload of various suspended weapons - bombs up to 2,000 pounds, Zuni and Mighty Mouse rockets, gun pods, and the AGM-62 Walleye guided bombs
A wonderful strike aircraft and the best choice to accelerate the research of high-ranking Israeli aviation!

Unlike all other game nations, Israeli tech tree won't start from Rank 1. We will share more details in future.
YES! I've been hoping for Israel, and a premium A4 is basically my dream. I will be spending the money I made from the latest event on it!
Is a Minor tech tree nation something you would ever consider? Combine minor European powers like Romania Greece Yugoslavia Poland and others to get a nice full tech tree of mostly unique vehicles? You could limit access to this tree to players who have only reached teir 4 or 5 in a major nation so they can't quickly rush to jets. Would you implementing something similar for Israel so you are getting new players starting in teir 3/4? Let them get exp in a major nation first?
Never heard of it, but ok.
Thanks! I've been waiting for this for a long time!
Finally. It makes more sense than having the tech tree of a country with heavily modified vehicles being spread between at least 4 nations.
I think Israel should only be unlocked for players who have Tier IV of the British or Americans, otherwise novices with jets will be complaining about the performance and that it is "Unbalanced". We've already seen that Tier 5/6 vehicle packs shouldn't be added to the game because novice players end up playing both Tanks RB and Airplanes RB. That's what I'm thinking is that Israel starts in Tier 5/4
Israel wtf. Ok, they have modified tanks And some new tanks. But gaijin need to add something like Czechoslovakia And Poland combined.
This must be a joke... hope this branch is aviable from the begining, also hope this is not only a copy paste tech tree.
any eta on the french navy? not trying to cause trouble was just assuming it would come before another nation and now i have no guess.
So when is Canada going to get vehicles, there are tons of Canadians who are just settling with the RAF, I would love to see a true Canadian nation.
