In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Updated respawn point marker
This improvement is based on a wish you left under one of previous digests. Even something as small as choosing a respawn point can be made better. So we have done it.
Aircraft, ground and naval point markers are now much more distinct against any background and the point selected from those available is clearly distinguishable from neighbouring points. It just got so much better.
Continuing to add to weaponry cards
Know everything about your weaponry! We have already expanded the set of available data in the ammunition and missile cards several times. Now you even have a visual animation of how different ammo works, but it can be even better!
This time we have added such characteristics as time of guided flight interference immunity in the optical channel of ATGM and guaranteed launch range of an ATGM ((the range achievable by an ATGM under any acceptable atmospheric conditions) to the rocket's card. Also for the ATGMs mounted to ground vehicles we have added the display of information on the presence of a laser-beam control channel. Not unnecessary data for your battle effectiveness.
Fixing the sight in duplicate mode
If you have high rank ground vehicles, you are definitely familiar with the capabilities of the commander sights and the benefits their fire control system provides. Amongst them is the duplicate control mode that allows you to fire using commander’s sight.
Unfortunately due to a mistake when switching to the commander's sight and activating the dual control, the sight crosshair may have shifted to the right in some cases. We have fixed this bug as quickly as possible and now everything works like clockwork. Enjoy the bonuses on modern vehicles.
Vehicle service: Stage 2
We continue to work on the maintenance of the many different vehicles in the game. This time we returned the missing pressure damage for TAM 2IP, clarified the description of the combined armour on the T-64B and all modifications of the T-72 and also fixed many visual bugs and errors in the installation of the modifications of aircraft and ground vehicles. We will not list them all but just invite you to visit the full list of changes - you should look there at all times.
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

Is it time to fix ghost shells soon?
You must have missed that update where they "fixed" ghost shells. lmao. It was better but not fixed for a bit after that started. But now it's back to being worse than it was before Direct Hit. Ghost shells and misfires happens all the time now.
ghost shell mostly happen when you (or your target) have PL, so hard to fix i guess.
Nice!
nice quetion: why does my game randomly in any match not always but frequent that i get constant screen freeze (i asked other players and some experienced it too with high end PC getting frame drop from 140 down to 1-5 FPS in random matches) i tried checking the task manager if my PC is doing something else but nope its not(while the game is freezing), if by any chance the problem is client side pls tell me if any of you know some solutions
i also tried using the check files and it did nothing
I was running well over 100 fps until Direct Hit. Now my avg fps is down with times of stuttering and freezing. The last time this happened it was because of the sound mods in the big update-which they removed, finally. Makes me wonder if they tried again knowing it would break the game, again. I mean, they added more night battles again, guess they forgot how much the community complained last time before they took them out of rotation. How about putting more maps in rotation instead???
Great, but when can we fix the floating ship wreckage apears randomly above my ship in navel RB?
Yeah I thought Tzeentch was done playing with naval battles after that detached spinning turret thing got fixed but I was wrong.
hey this bug is cool
When can I expect, that the aiming bug, randomly forcing the aim somewhere else, will get finally fixed? It has been happening for multiple months already, and it ruined a lot of battles to me. There are also some more frequent, heavy problems with the graphic glitches, and game crashes in the naval mode(probably because of the memory leaks). Also, the game sometimes kicks the player out over a temporary unstable connection issue, lock all his crews, and prevent him from reentering the game.
"Aircraft, ground and naval point markers are now much more distinct against any background and the point selected from those available is clearly distinguishable from neighbouring points. It just got so much better" Really? this was an issue? Still there are so many areas that cause division and dissent amongst the player base, but you change an icon on the battle start up screen and call it "so much better" You have so many more issues that need addressing
I mean c'mon, that 's almost the same as addressing player concerns about maps by just re-ordering the labels "A" "B" and "C" and calling it a map rework. I realise you're after profit first and foremost, but at least try and make it look like you actually care about player concerns
potato_R_us, They haven't cared since they abandoned all their morals and started modifying vehicles out of spec for balance, started selling premium vehicles and catering to every lazy, crybaby player who wants easy kills at top tier. (Kids with their Daddies credit cards) Greed has taken over.
Thanks Gaijin :)
