On the 15th of September, 1940, over one and a half thousand experienced pilots from Great Britain with some of its friends and Germany entered battle in the skies over Southern England! This battle became a turning point in the attempts of the German command to completely destroy the Royal Air Force.
Great Britain withstood this battle, and to this day, every 15th September, the Allied nations and the whole world remember this heroic feat and commemorate "Battle of Britain day".
Until 07:00 GMT on the 17th of September. Participate in 3 battles using British aircraft of rank II or higher (with an in-game activity of at least 70%) and get the “Battle of Britain Memorial Flight” badge.

Not even a RB event like previous years? What stopped you guys from doing time-limited events?
Ikr that event was one of the most fun times I've ever had on this game
the sheer size of the map making 15minutes flying before meeting anyone.
Gaijin people, and those who already have those units? There is no other that can be bought? In addition, the Germans participated in that battle. For them there are no units to buy? Discrimination? And on the other hand, if you want to earn money I suggest, for example, that you put the "War Thunder Day" (day the game started, for example), and give us access to event / hidden units, once a year. Ovbio, to buy them. That would help your finances and the players who are collectors a lot.
Agree 100%
Need a pack puma
Why nothing for the German side? Who knew that the battle of britain involved the british forces only.......
because germans bad
we dont reward the loosers
Not even an actual event, just grind for a decal. Rip Get those BoB events where we actually re-enact it in AB and RB please, those were super fun
That'd require actual work on gaijin's part. So no chance of that.
KaragandaRulez, Actually it wouldn't require any work aside from uploading the pre-made and what used to be yearly Battle of Britain map into Events. It is simply an indication of the direction Gaijin are going.
OK so... russian spitfire when?
They already have one
+1 , gaijin when?
I'm disappointed I thought you were going to release a free premium plane again
Last year was the 80th anniversary, which is a major milestone.
No German vehicle? I find that rather strange. Without the enemy there would have been no battle, they deserve a vehicle too.
September 15th / Battle of Britain day is an allied commemoration day. It marks the defeat of the Luftwaffe in their attempt for aerial supremacy and cancelation of the invasion.
Smin1080p, when are you planning to celebrate any day of Luftwaffe? As German, I feel deeply discriminated. You make million special days for Soviets, Britisn etc, but none for Germans. Be fair, please.
I was hoping for Dover Strait EC RB, sad :(
Gaijin completely lost interest in this kind of event. They are much more inclined to do arcade'ish stuff, frenetic CoD style of gameplay
remember when little events like this actually had vehicles, instead of premium stuff you have to buy? like the reward hurricane at 2.3 with a unique camo, or the 4 cannon spirfire mk9 tournament. stuff like that was exciting, decals and ge premiums arent
Those are generally for major milestones. For example last year was the 80th anniversary that had the Hurricane.
At least an RB EC aircraft event would be nice. Damn I miss Enduring Confrontation battles. It breaks up the same old game modes we play every day, year after year.
