In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Improved aiming in the sight
This will affect ground vehicles that have weapons mounted offset from the central axis. Previously, when you switched to such weaponry (both primary and secondary), the aiming marker might behave incorrectly when aiming at very close objects.
We have improved these mechanics and the aiming in the described situation will noticeably improve.
Correcting the lead marker
It’s hard to imagine air AB without the lead marker that tells you fairly accurately at what point to fire to hit the enemy. But when using the weaponry selector on your aircraft the marker might not take into account the ballistics of the currently selected weapon and calculate the lead point for cannons or machine guns without the selected weaponry type.
That inconvenience will now be history. The marker will accurately take the ballistics of the selected weapon type into account.
Improving the mission editor
We are not talking about custom battles or test drive. You can create full fledged PvE missions to test your vehicle in near-combat conditions!
The mission editor functionality can be found in the test drive window. The button is located at the left bottom of the window and opens up a wide range of mission settings, allies and even inexperienced pilots.
In this mode we have fixed a bug that might cause suspended weaponry to not reload in the air.
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

another useless "fix" but at least we will have the constant fps drops for another 5 years
I feel like all the hull aiming fixes don't belong here. Perhaps you should make a new series called "still fixing it." It'd be right at home there. Maybe another series called "we're not gonna fix it." Like volumetric shells or overpressure and the copious amount of armour bugs. Perchance could also take a look at the unstable servers, netcode, lag compensation and hit detection while you're at it. While I appreciate the smaller fixes, it's the bigger issues that really need your attention.
A fix for RB ground forces that enforced minimum graphics settings by doing a graphics card check would be nice. Example it should be impossible to select ULQ or massively remove shadows/grass etc. if you have a good graphics card. This is to ensure players that enjoy the awesome graphics that the developers have created are not unfairly being disadvantaged compared with players that deliberate "optimize" graphics to easily spot enemies.
This! ULQ should not be a think in 2021. Why even waste resources and dev time with the whole New Power/graphic overhaul update if players, just to remain competitive in ground RB, downgrade their visuals to something that would look even bad on a mobile phone!
Here I was, thinking gaijin actually fixed an issue that affects every tank's aiming. But no, just a small bug that affects like 7. When are you going to fix the delayed aiming near dead tanks btw? It's far more noticable with stabilizers though.
Gaijin, I sincerely hope you can think about ways to solve this game problem from the perspective of game players, rather than adjusting the problem by looking at big data and player feedback. I like this game. I hope it can continue to operate well, but the recent changes and the decline in the number of gamers make me feel frightened. I think your biggest problem now is the balance of the game. I beg you not to let 1945 vehicles fight 1965 BMP and so on. This is just an example.
I hope you can consider how to arrange the matching mechanism from the perspective of players, so that everyone can have fun and be more realistic.
this is realllllly okay, did i wrote ok? ye, it is ok... but HEY! it is O-KAY!!!
Can we get an AI Rank selector for Custom Battles that actually works? How about in Test Drive mission editor making it so modern jets dont crash because they get spawned in at 200 kph?
and Stona_WT : can you bug report on the Me-163 and the Ki-200 has a chance to blow up on takeoff or either landing ?
Hey it seems like you forgot to prepare a new vehicle/vessel devblog, still it's not to late for one for today. ;D
