In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
“It’s Fixed” hangar delivery!
All updates and fixes in War Thunder now show after login on arrival in the hangar, like our major update changes! You won’t miss a single important update!
By the way, you're able to track all delivered updates by clicking the (?) icon in the hangar and proceed to the Updates history.
Tracks in the hit camera
Some time ago we implemented “physically-accurate caterpillar tracks” where they responded in detail to external factors in War Thunder. At the same time the tracks on vehicles with new mechanics simply disappeared from the animation in the hit camera (although they were correctly taken into account in the penetration calculation).
We have corrected this unfortunate omission and now the new tracks will be correctly displayed in the hit camera.
Erratic Missiles
You may have noticed that missiles fired by other players were behaving strangely in flight. They flew sideways or twitched strangely. This problem was purely a visual one. In reality the missiles behaved correctly and the bug didn't affect the hit probability or damage in any way.
We have corrected the behavior of guided missiles for the outside observer. Now the flight looks correct!
Capturing the sun with a seeker
You know the main disadvantage of an IR seeker, right? Its favourite target is the sun to which they eagerly switch at every opportunity. Nevertheless this peculiarity should not appear if you just have looked at the sun through a pilot's eyes and not of the seeker itself.
This is exactly how the bug was manifested. It reproduced the capture signal if you looked through the freeview camera at the sun. A missile could be launched also in this case. We have fixed this strange behavior but we still don’t recommend looking at the sun directly - it hurts!
"Friend-or-foe” in the commander's sight
Recognizing the enemy in the gunner's crosshairs in Simulation Battles has been working for a long time. A few seconds of waiting and the gunner will tell you if there are allies at the specified coordinates.
Exactly the same mechanics were added to the new commander's sights which recently appeared in many vehicles. Similar functionality and just as high in usefulness. Take advantage of it.
Shell tracking camera has been improved
In the “Red Skies” update we added a useful shell tracking feature for a ship’s cannons - for easier targeting to better understand shell ballistics and simply as a spectacular sight to see how your magnificent shot destroys the enemy.
In this digest we report that we have qualitatively improved certain aspects of camera behavior. It will now show the firing results more clearly and more widely and return “home” faster. Enjoy!
Shell cards in the module window
Missiles and other ordnance cards will now be displayed when you move your cursor over it, even if the modification itself hasn’t yet been researched or purchased. Useful if you haven’t yet thoroughly researched all the weapons present in War Thunder.
More improvements
This time as always we have prepared a large number of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list of changes that we publish in a separate change log - there is a lot of interesting stuff there.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

It's Wednesday my dudes, time for "It's fixed" article :)
Thanks Stona
it is time for M60T, best M60. M60T for USA M60 line. look WT forum about it. vote and comment.
And when will the issue with changing gears be finally fixed? Can't be that a level 150 ace crew has issues with changing gears and that I go uphill in a modern vehicle slower than walking backwards ...
You need to become much more reasonable... the issue with changing gears HAS been fixed twice already, in #8 AND #9. You are asking for too much, @Yedidya!!
Yup gearing SUCKS worse than its ever been. How can Gaijin keep getting this so wrong????
Nice fix on gears gaijin! Magnificently annoying this game is now congratz!
don't worry 3rd times a charm. Just joking, the next "fix" for gears will put it back to what it was in the first place. 12121212121212121212121212121
Hopefully in the next "it´s fixed" we will see the scouting abillity added to commander view as well. feels kinda poointless to have to switch to binos to be able to scout a target when I can see them very well in commanders view. Otherwise keep up these posts. It´s great to see what is changing and what buggs has been fixed :)
Fix the economy back to what it was before Red Skies. Fix Naval DM back to what it was before Red Skies.
I agree, now having premium account has the same rewards as without having a premium account before
First of all, I would finally like to see the reduction in prices for 6th tier of aircraft.
Will you guys ever fix Jagdpanther's model? It's narrower than it should be. It's pretty obvious by the oblong gun. It's been like that for ever...come on. And don't tell me "it's fine". Just look into it and you'll see.
"Just look into it" will not work, sorry. Please submit documented bug report on our forum. Thanks!
Stona_WT, Did that AGES ago. I even made screenshots highlighting the issue, including measurements of the Panther and Jagdpanther chassis. The difference is quite big. Anyway. Nobody looked into it. It probably got deleted.
What users would like to see fixed the most is to bring it back to the level of SL RP before Red Sky. I can clearly feel the decrease in SL RP when I play.
No kidding. I run a premium account and remained pretty stagnant on my SL with small fluctuations up and down. I've bled more than 10m SL since red sky began because even with prem i'm just not making enough to pay for new vehicles anymore
Alexsis8, Maybe you misunderstood me. I'm asking you to go back to ixwa Strike before Red Sky, when you could earn both RP and SL.
Cancel queue fix? Invisible tree...just way too many...
still not fixing ghost shells?
Thanks
