A new naval location designed for dynamic firefights with the coastal fleet!
The ocean flooded cargo terminal, vehicle overpasses and the downtown of an Asian seaside metropolis. It is here, with the roar of engines and the clang of machine-gun belts, boats and patrol ships from the War Thunder coastal fleets will clash in battle! We present a new location for naval battles “Drowned City”, that will appear in the game with the release of the upcoming major update “Red Skies”!
We originally created this location specifically for the mosquito fleet of War Thunder - there are many shelters made from containers scattered by flooding, ship skeletons, heaps of garbage, road junctions and trees shrouded in sea mud. Aviation will maneuver between tall skyscrapers, looking for an obvious boat whilst hiding from anti-aircraft guns.
To create this location, we were inspired by the views of the coastal cities of South-East Asia, especially Hong Kong. Its an amazing location between the mountains and the sea, as well as characteristic skyscrapers with holes (“dragon gates” - according to Feng Shui, through these openings in buildings dragons from the mountains descend to the sea) largely determined the appearance of the “Drowned City”.

Oh look, it's Miami in a couple decades.

Warning: Paranormal activities have been detected some time agn in this aera.... play with cautions! ;)
I miss Realistic maps.....
dont you dare call this a new map, this is just a copy paste of cargo terminal.
Isn't this the air map city?
hmm, burning tower. I wonder what that brings to mind.
Don't you dare call this a new map, you just Ctrl+C cargo terminal, a ground map. To be honest your first priority should be BR bracket extension. But doing so, you very well know people will not buy your premiums, because if vehicles are more balanced a talisman on those vehicles would be cheaper.
https://youtu.be/BzqoA-h1k_8 aaa, i love the sight of an N² mine in the morning
"Aviation will maneuver between tall skyscrapers". Nope. That's now how air combat works in WT. Everybody goes HIGH UP. The one who goes highest, wins. Sorry Gaijin but you should start playing YOUR game.
there is such a thing as low alt dogfights, and in naval all the planes are hugging the ground to bomb or shoot a PT, so that's were most of the fighters go
the everstuck ship still looks like it doesn't have proper texture in the inside part of the cargo bay. i hope it's fixed when this map comes out
the Triple E class is actually blue an yellow as seen in the GF map cargo port, While the Everstuck was a meme with it's green texture.
LtCol-RedFox@psn, i'm talking about the 3rd screenshot. the cargo ship is the exact same model as the everstuck (well maybe they removed the name) and i remember fiddling around with the model to find out that the cargos aren't fully textured. you can even see the missing textures in the screenshot
