8th of May 1945, Allied forces who fought during World War 2 celebrated “VE Day” or “Victory in Europe Day”. Major cities in Allied nations, as well as those cities in Western Europe that had formerly been occupied, rejoiced in the defeat of the Nazi war machine with the raising of flags and banners.
German forces lay down their arms and held their fire: In Prague, Germans surrendered to their Soviet counterparts, after the latter had lost more than 8,000 soldiers, and the Germans many more; in Copenhagen and Oslo; at Karlshorst, near Berlin; in northern Latvia; on the Channel Island of Sark — their surrender was complete with a final cease-fire, followed by more surrender documents that were signed in Berlin and East Germany.
From May 7th to 10th (02:00 GMT), fight in War Thunder and receive the “Weapon of Victory” decorations from the victorious nations and the “Warrior-Liberator” decal.

Got all four, what a lovely selection of weapons. Finally got an M1 for all my American WWII tanks, a Bren for all my British WWII tanks, and a flamethrower for my Russians, because why not? More decorations are always appreciated!
Bit sad that the Russian Spitfire isn't back on sale, though i might pick up Dolgushin's La-7
wtb moar new WW2 premiums even if captured's
You can get all of them, that's nice :D
ROKS-3 looks awesome
Thanks for the 3D goodies! I have been waiting patiently for the Bren and Garand.
The clothes in your illustration and especially the snap in the back baseball caps are defiantly not period 1945. Nothing major, just pointing it out :-)
No one said it's 1945? :) Victory Day is every year :) \o/
These decorations are awesome! Always happy to see more stuff like that.
What did the Soviet victory have to do with Russia?
the people who won the Soviet victory are are grandparents of today Russia, We at Mexico still celebrate victories of those born in Texas(when Texas was Mexico) even if Texas is no longer Mexico.
I really like to play WT in these days, and I am playing with my teammates from Soviet vehicles and German vehicles in the map of Moscow
hahahaha
