Third season of the War Thunder Battle Pass
Season awards
Every season you get a new set of awards. See the full list in the Battle Pass tab in the hangar, or check our wiki. Here are the award vehicles of the season 3:
Coupon for M6A2E1
An old school US heavy tank with improved frontal armour and a decent 105mm gun
Toldi IIA
A Hungarian-made light tank built after the Swedish Strv m/38, but armed with a 40mm gun.
Voroshilov light cruiser
The Hero of the Soviet Black sea fleet, a light cruiser of the Kirov class. Punchy main weapons and an improved AA battery.
Coupon for P-39Q-25
A French Premium Airacobra from the most produced series Q. A devastating 37mm gun is backed by .50 machine guns and a bomb to hit ground targets.
What’s new?
This is how the Season 4 Battle Pass store will look when you get both coupon upgrades in the “Strength Athletics” season.
Free Battle Pass
You could get free access to the next, 4th Battle Pass by completing enough stages in the current “Strength Athletics” season!
How does it work? Battle Pass rewards include “Upgrade for a vehicle coupon” - this season, for example, they appear at levels 105 and 125. These upgrades can be applied to previously received coupons for season vehicles so that they become tradable on the Market, or you can combine both improvements and get a full Battle Pass for the next season. This can be done from season to season!
Changes to Season Challenges
Regular Seasonal Challenges (available each week) now do not remain unlockable until the end of the season. You have 3 weeks to complete each challenge.
At the beginning of the season, you receive one Challenge. Every odd week, another new one will appear, and every even week - two.
At the same time, received Season Challenges (for the 21st, 40th and 60th Battle Pass level), will not be changed - they can be still completed immediately and until the season ends.

so not only the quality of the prizes has significantly degraded from the previous two installments, but the challenges now expire? who takes these kind of decisions? I sure as hell welcome a chance to forget about spending money on the BP or grinding my life away to complete it though.
Ouch. This is a bad look, expecially when the servers are barely holding together enough for me to finish a single battle. Guess I saved some money, at least.
So yeah, just like always with new every iteration of something that was bearable in this game, battle pass is getting worse and worse. Nothing new to see here. Just typical gaijin play.
Really disappointed with this. The first 2 seasons were pretty good, but restricting the challenges to 3 week periods just makes it feel more like we are being forced to play War Thunder with urgency, and not at our own pace. The previous seasons felt like we could play at our own pace, and be rewarded for playing. Having 2-3 months to get everything done is perfectly fair, but now we have to make sure we plan out our time to do the specific challenges within their time frames.
Thats a big nope from me. Horrible third season.
What a piece of trash
Challenge; Power Stairs -Destroy a specified number of player vehicles using any cruiser or battleship [30 vehicles] Good luck getting kills in Naval, getting 30 kills , when you spend 20 minutes shooting one ship to just get it stolen, should be changed to Assists/Kills.
Not to mention you now only have 3 weeks to do this task and every other task. So you have 3 weeks to do this in Naval while simultaneously doing all of the Ground and Air tasks also.
So, you upgrade your coupon, and then wait 90 days to sell it, right?
Yes, there will be a delay. You cannot sell it right away.
Stona_WT, Thanks for clarifying, this was important in judging if I should buy it or no.
Don't usually comment here,. But, first Battlepass season was great, I really regret not buying into it - enjoyed the tasks (none of the Tier 3 stuff, plenty of people giving Naval a whirl. Purchased and enjoyed the second one, despite the tier 3 tasks (and the related drop off in Naval players pushing queue times). I was immensely looking forward to the new season (especially as I have time and money on my hands). Can't do it this time, a non-premium cruiser with the current mm? Nothankyou! :-(
What about the for the doom turtles disabled brother?
owensnoopy123, what?
Wow...thx for saving me money Gaijin, it was bad enough when you stuck us with half the vehicles whether we wanted them or not last season (sticking me with a boat and tonk I'll never use) but the new change to the coupons? Nope I'll pass, bought the other seasons, won't touch this one, hard pass. I mean seriously I'd have to reach 125 just to get rid of something I don't want? Yeah...that's a no thx.
