Watch the story about recording the sounds of real Swedish armored vehicles.
The War Thunder Team
Nice video! It's a shame that the Swedish tanks are still beyond broken: Strv103 can't aim, and the low tier 1930s tanks are using a 1949 sabot round.
Since after the Strv and Rooikat were added we eventually got Swedish tree and S.African sub tree. So going by that trend when can we get the Israeli and Polish subtree? Complete with M-51SS to Merkava Mk 4M and PT-91M2
We already have 3 merkavas in game an multiple Israeli tanks
But why did the Strv 122B PLSS have to get its reload nerfed? Because it receive more accurate engine sounds?
It would be nice if they made the same recordings for bomb explosions, they sound really bad right now -_-
bandkanonvagn 1 confirmed!
Cool so you go thought all this effort to make sound recordings for tanks, too bad I cant hear half of them when they are driving around me because the game physically cant cope. Also i'm REALLY glad you've made accurate sound recordings for tanks that have been in the game for less than 2 years and not given the Lancaster, B17, and many more proper cockpits still from 2013. got your priorities strait there.
As GAIJIN explained years ago, making aircraft cockpits accurate is very difficult, labor intensive and time consuming. And yes, it is a priorities issue.
And I agree, a B-17 or Lancaster cockpit would be nice. More important to me though is the lack of the Martin B-26 Marauder medium bomber. One of the most iconic bombers of WW2. It was used by the USA, Britain, Free French Forces and South Africans in the European conflict. The Marauder, operating from medium altitude, proved to be a highl
JJTopp, ...highly accurate aircraft, with the 9th Air Force rating it the most accurate bomber available in the final month of the war in Europe.
