Testing of the missions for the new PvE game mode
We are starting to work on a new game mode for ground vehicles! It features story-driven PvE missions that you will be able to complete with your friends.
The test is available for everyone from 13:00 GMT on the 22nd of March until 13:00 GMT on the 24th of March in the Events and Tournaments tab.
We invite you to try the first 3 missions of the game mode:
- Eastern Front 1941 (Poland) - German Pz. III F’s are under the control of players. To participate it is necessary to have one vehicle in the hangar of rank II or above.
- Eastern Front 1943 (Fire Arc) - Soviet Т-34-57’s are under the control of players. To participate it is necessary to have one vehicle in the hangar of rank IV or above.
- Middle East 1973 (Sinai) - US M48A1’s are under the control of players. To participate it is necessary to have one vehicle in the hangar of rank V or above.
Scenario of the test missions
Each mission consists of 3 stages: offensive, clearance and defense.
- As part of the offensive, your team must break through to the capture zone, while destroying the forces of the defending AI opponents which have anti-tank cannons and ground vehicles.
- The cleanup stage will take place on the city streets. At the end of it you will have time to prepare for the most important part of the battle.
- In the final phase the enemy will try to re-capture the city in a massive offensive. Enemy vehicles that break into the city will take the advantage scores until you will destroy them. You will lose if you allow the enemy to dominate the city.
Game mode mechanics
- Testing will be carried out in AB game mode.
- In a mission, the player will receive a vehicle with a preset crew level and all modifications except artillery support.
- Economy and achievements in the missions are switched off. There are no additional or other special awards in this testing phase.
- The test may be closed ahead of schedule for technical reasons.
We plan to improve missions based on your feedback and test results. We also plan to add random events and secondary tasks, introduce new game mechanics and also develop a few more scenarios.

Great, I have been playing the game for years, and that is something I looked foward sinse I played the campaings.
Impossible to win with randoms
Just won it with a random. Not realy impossible.
GMTgaming, I've played 5 times so far 4 on 41' map and 1 on 43' no wins yet. but that makes it interesting. Teamwork is key and communication would be nice
This will get very repetitive and boring real quick like the assault modes. Another gamemode that won't get played and that will increase queue times. For that increase in queue i would much rather have decompression. Why would you make another PVE gamemode for tanks, instead of AIR EC, HELI EC, (HELI PVE) or NAVAL EC? Something people have actually asked for. Atleast with a heli PVE people could actually start grinding the heli trees (which are pay2play).

Batlaz, It would increase queue times if it was enjoyable/popular. But it will probably be repetitve and boring, which would lead to no change in time i agree. But i hardly think it was gajijn's attempt to make a gamemode that doesn't get played. In the case were it would be popular it will for sure increase queue times. Since the playerbase would be split over more gamemodes.
I like it a lot but on Poland I would like it so that there would be a reconnaissance plane or something like that to spot tanks as it is hard to look around every nook and cranny for the last T-26

Guys there are just testing it in AB. Calm down, I bet it'll be RB later.
I think the game mode is a solid idea. But playing jut a little bit of it, I find some certain flaws with. First, you only get 1 life. Now, maybe because this is something to do with testing. But it just doesn't work. Maybe do something like in AB where you only get 3 lives. That may be good enough. 2nd, maybe increase the player cont from 4 to 6. Unless that is the intended goal. The idea is a solid one and I think it could work. Also add other game modes and other vehicles as well.
Outstanding. I REALLY hope PVE modes all across the board get improved and expanded upon, though (Historical Campaign, Dynamic Campaign, Single Missions, Mission Editor, etc.). AI behavior and functionality desperately needs an overhaul, and there are a number of glitches and other issues plaguing these modes (in addition to Custom Match). STILL waiting on the Mission Editor improvements you discussed years ago, and the return of the mission scenarios you removed, Gaijin.
Either make it for helis or remove the Ka-50 from everyones hangars and give them the czech Mi-24 instead.
Helicopter PvE is a sperate development entirely.
