November the 11th is a very special day in the hearts of the Polish People. 101 years ago, the truce in Compiègne ended the Great War. Poland, a country divided between the German, Russian and Austro-Hungarian Empires, after 123 years of constant battles and uprisings regained its independence. To celebrate this anniversary, we have prepared something special for all our Players! Let us celebrate this significant achievement together!
Until the 13th of November (7 GMT), participate in 3 battles using vehicles of rank 3 and above and with an activity of 60% or more to receive the decal “Independence Day of Poland”.
Tasks can be done in the random battles except Enduring Confrontation and Assault missions
To follow your progress just click on your Nickname → Achievements → Independence Day of Poland.

a small event with a decal, what is there to complain about?
As you can see there is always a thing to complain about :) Still pretty nice decal!
All answers (5)OrsonES, i know right its like there going to start complaining about how the po-2 should have female pilots in remembrance to the night witches
no p47m available like last year
AlphaSRB, Polish P-47M could appear on winter event, why not ? :)
Congratulations for Poland and Polish people! I hope one day Hungary also can celebrate her independence and reunion. From Hungary
Idea for next year event, Polish Tank 7TP as premium vehicle (1-2 era) (in german/ussr nations tech tree)/(in every tech tree)
wouldnt it make more sense for it to be in the brit tree seems the 7TP is based off a british design aswell as the fact that they are allies?
All answers (1)WT_CT_Center, germans and ussr had some 7TPs after Fall Weiss, (ussr took them to tests)
It's pretty much a T-26. I'd rather see one of the PZL aircraft.
What about Armistice Day? A poppy or something at least.
Russians lost ww1, you really thought that they would celebrate something that does not glorify them?
Tshuhna, tbh Poland got it's independence from Russia too, it was one of the three invaders, so your logic does not really apply here. Maybe next year they will celebrate that?
When Finland had its 100th birthday in 2017 I wrote about that, asking if there could be something, even a decal added for Finland's independence day. A senior moderator replied with this: "Note that there has to be some correlation to a game as War Thunder in some shape or form to make it something worth "celebrating". - Remember that as inhabitants of specific countries we are always biased towards the importance of our countries." So how is Poland's 101th independence day more important?
1. Poland got its independence by carving out its teritory out of Germany and Russia during WW1. 2. WW2 started in Poland. Fun fact, polish soldiers fought in literally every WW1 front and on both sides hoping to win some support for their independence movement, in the end they had to do it themselfs.
All answers (2)NukeDispenser, look, not to downplay the importance of my bratanki regaining their independence (blessings from hungary), but he has a point. This isn't about a measuring contest on who's country did more, it's the fact that they did. Only looking at the scope of WW2, the Winter War was an often overlooked, but very important event. The finnish people deserve every right to be celebrated for their heroic stand. So Should Polish people be. Let's not bicker about it, and instead ask for both.
