Ghost of Biggin Hill? Nah, it's just sound travelling from Gatwick International Airport, a couple of Croydon Chavs street racing or some old BP bugger with his leaf blower, not caring that everyone else is in bed.
the video said it is the sound of a spitfire that survived the war.
By the way, Biggin Hill RAF base (decomissioned) has a bar that is a wonderful place for a drink if you can get an invite from a member. Our neighbour used to be ground crew so he took us there to show the place off. Amazing photos on the wall and a great atmosphere. None of 'the few' were still around when I went of course, but the people there keep their stories alive.
If you wanted to do a scary WWII story you should have talked about the foo fighters, glowing balls of light that followed planes around,often at night. After the war it turned out each side thought it was a secret weapon of the other side, and nobody to this day knows what those lights chasing the planes were.
