Thank you for telling the Biggin Hill story. My grandmother told me the story many years ago and it was great to hear it again with such relish. She was stationed there as an intelligence officer during the Blitz.
Great episode. War Thunder meets Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors
I had also heard the story of the ghost pilots of Biggin Hill. I also heard the story from an English friend of mine that when he worked as a security guard at a location close to a World War 2 airfield, he saw a man in old pilot uniform, but when he looked outside no-one was there. He also said the CCTV cameras showed no-one was there. He told me other people had experienced similar things there as well.
