Greetings friends,
Today we are excited to share some great news with you!
The War Thunder wiki is officially launching to the public
So, players, we are pleased to present to you the War Thunder Wiki Share Program!
Our vision is for the Wiki Share Program to assist the Wiki in providing up to date and useful information which will benefit anyone and everyone that plays our game. The main objective is to pool together the best information for all our vehicles, making up our Aviation, Ground and Naval Forces.
What does this mean for you?
Well, all reading this now, including you, will be able to earn Golden Eagles by contributing information to the vehicle profiles on the War Thunder Wiki.
The more you contribute, the more you can earn! But don’t worry, the Wiki team will be there to support you along the way, helping you achieve your best!
Golden Eagle rewards are categorized into grades, which are broken into four segments:
Grade
- Excellent
- Good
- Okay
- Bad
Golden Eagles - Rewards
- 501 to 800 GE
- 201 to 500
- 100 to 200
- 0
To learn more about the WSP program, please see the official WSP page, click here.
In-order to be a part of this program, you must apply. You can apply directly on the Wiki share program page, and also directly here.
How will the whole process work?
First step: If you feel you can do it, feel free to apply and fill in the information asked of you.
Second step: if you are accepted into the program, you will be informed via a forum Private Message, welcoming you to the program.
Third step: You will only receive GE after you have joined the WSP team, and the articles you have contributed to are marked acceptable and published. You will receive your GE within 7 working days from the calendar month’s end.
Example: Contributions made in December will be issued to your game account within 7 working days from the 1st of January.

Good luck to the people who will take part :)
Finally! Nice stuff!
Great!
Maybe we will find an article about the mysterious "Plane burnt out" death without fire or anything. Or the properties of stalinium. Or how the wood planks of milk truck can bounce off a 128mm shell. Fuel tanks that swallow 5 kg of explosives into the void.
I was thinking about joining but then I looked at the forum on how much stuff was removed because some mod or higher up didn t like it, I lost my motivation to help you guys. Best example is the Constructive Criticism Corner.
I am exited for this opportunity anything to help out the wiki team. It really helps me after I do CDK stuff and i need the vehicle code if i want to change something real quick. I use the map section a lot and i still wish naval maps were uploaded but hopefully that will eventually come.
what I thought about the wiki is lacking mechanical work. why only have a wiki for vehicles? players, especially new players they need to know how the reward system work, what is the talisman, how to play PvE, how the to bombing airfield simulator battle etc.
Does this count for contributions that are already made?
*insert "wait, you guys are getting paid?" meme
but no really, i did 2 "battle usage" section and that's pretty much it, Game grind is too long
Wow,that's aweasome! I think it would also be a great idea to do something similar with translations,i myself would love to translate things to Portuguese to help fellows who can't speak english.
