Liked the 'Pages Of History' segment on the Curtiss SB2C Helldiver...It should be noted that this U.S. Navy dive bomber really wasn't well liked my either those who maintained it...or those who operated it. Regardless, after its combat debut over Rabaul Harbor on Nov. 11, 1943, the Helldiver...a.k.a 'The Beast' or 'Son Of A B**** 2nd Class'...became a virtual war-winner, with 7,199 being built. Not bad for something that a captain named J.J. 'Jocko' Clark once called 'an anchor'. XD!
The design of the Curtiss SB2C Helldiver was supervised by the great American aircraft designer, Donovan Reese Berlin. He was the designer of the P-36 Hawk, P-40 Warhawk, SO3C Seamew floatplane, XP-55 Ascender, P-75 Eagle, and also supervised the design of the C-46 Commando transport plane. Later he was heavily involved in the development of rotorcraft, in particular the CH-47 Chinook. We don't get the Seamew, the Eagle or the Chinook in the game, unfortunately!
Why does gaijin hate the british so much? everything they do to the british tech tree makes it worse when it was never very good to begin with. challenger 2 with the super weak mantlet wich is unrealistic and they dont give it its charm 2 ammo, they only give it its practise rounds for use on firing ranges yet the airete has a ridiculous amount of pen at the same br with very good armour packages now. also the newer air vehicles have been nerfed like hellies speed. Rip British vehicles
I think they're just updating the British last because they're the least played nation and it's not because they're bad it's because their meta doesn't fit the game meta which is fast vehicles with fast reloading guns driving around the battlefield flanking everything and everyone. You just can't have fun in a game sitting behind a hill hoping an enemy will drive across where you're overlooking and trying to be aggressive in the Chally 2 just doesn't work.

When will the flak 8.8 and the vfw or similar vehicles going to get a timed or prox. round for actually shooting planes with? Historically they shot planes down with the 8.8, and historically they used anti aircraft rounds... still waiting....

*kingstevo420, Germany wasnt using proximity rounds and trust me you dont want timed fuses, you need to calculate the distance of enemy aircraft which i bet 95% of players wouldnt be able to do, its speed which 99% wont do, estimate its flight path and set fuse to this distance, then fire.
