The Korean War was the first large-scale military conflict of the “Cold War” period which actively lasted 3 years. We invite you to participate as one of the opposing forces in the conflict and to take an opportunity to compare the vehicles of the strongest opponents.
From 15:00 GMT on the 19th of July until 07:00 GMT on the 22nd of July
Join the battle for the Korean Peninsula in the sky and on the ground with historical vehicle setups (RB).
Available events:
[Operation] Korea — аircraft battles
- US, British and Soviet aviation including jet aircraft will participate in the event.
[Domination] 38th Parallel — combined battles
- US, British and Soviet ground vehicles will participate.
- There are 3 respawns available. To fly out in aircraft and some ground vehicles you need to earn Respawn Scores. The number of respawns on some ground vehicles is limited for the team.
- The difficulty level is “World War”. A special marker will appear above the enemy vehicle that has been found by your crew. The usual aircraft marker and “lead” marker for self-propelled anti aircraft guns will be displayed. The external bombing marker (as in AB mode) is available for aircraft.
Both events have a 30% SL and RP bonus.
The event series in the RB game mode offers participants battles with historical setups. In some of these battles, participants have an opportunity to gain additional bonuses. Events can offer battle formats that are different from random battle modes in War Thunder.

Can anybody explain to me why was again markers necessary on planes :( in RB? Does anybody from Gajin really understand that with such setting they are rather loosing players than acquire new one?
Can I play if I dont own the tanks/planes?
no
I wonder if they want feedback on how to change and drastically improve the concept of world war mode instead of what it is now
So when do you add the f86 to US lineup? It was in korea before the mig15BIS yet we cannot use it?
Also, I'm hoping for a late-WWII RB EC event that includes the Me-163B, Me-163B-0, Me-262C-1a, Me-262C-2b, P-51H-5 (it was built before WWII ended but not deployed), B-29, Meteor, He-162, other Me-262s, P-80s, and so forth. People would probably scream "GERMAN BIAS" at the thought of including rocket planes, but EC means that them zergrushing would be pointless, and map size would force all of them to fly at well below top speed that superprops and early jets can intercept.
The tank preset is good, map is solid for thoes tanks but markers ruin it. Plane bomb assist and anti air idicator assist are not necessary, all markers in RB modes are not needed. The game mode is bad its too easy for allied side to bomb with assistence, they carry better ordinance than any russian plane in the preset and they also have better SPAA and tanks. So with that, at least remove the markers to make it challenging and fun or at least somewhat skill based.
tank preset is not correct just google no mark 1 cent onley mark 3 with 20 pounder and lots of military reports of hits beyond 2 km
why the F-86 is not allowed!?
...and Panthers are not allowed too! Totally wasted event! This time you disappointed me a lot, Gaijin. Sad.
Wintermute_, Maybe its because Panthers didn't fight in the Korean war?
p-80 vs mig15 nice...
Ok, nice picture but no see this bombers. One maybe four ? VERY SMALL BATTLES want normal realistic .. this is boring
is this a joke? no centurion mk3??
