So the T80 is better than Abrams yet M1 has 4x higher repair cost........sounds fair...
T80 isnt better than abrams though
FsAviX, Still unfair repair cost for M1 series though
Worst comparison you could make.
Another unbalanced comparison, yet it's a "proper" comparison. No one considered what the majority of top tier fighting is which is can you one-shot the opponent. You rarely one shot an Abrams from the side. Every Soviet tank has the carrousel of ammo and is very easy to ammo-rack when angled even the slightest bit.
Thats why i think russia should get t80U so at least it recieves a mobile tank :/
Esavian, for the t80u to be in the game the Americans will need to get the M1A1HA, Germans Leopard 2a5, Japanese Type 10, British challenger 2 i know they are getting it already but gaijin will the nerf these vehicles cause of bias buddy 3bm15 pens only 350 MMs while m774 pened 440 MMs so gaijin is biased af.
you guys are biased af M1 Abrams does not have have the turret ring weak spot rl a 125 could barley fit under the ring, lower plate has the fuel tanks that add more Armour to the LP, Turret is even worse the Soviets feared the Abrams and they estimated that the M1ÌP to withstand 500MMs of KE so even the Soviets said that shits is spooky af, M774 pens 440MMs and M735 was not even on the Abrams so at least give M774 stock and M833 as the upgrade and give the rl pens on these shells 3bm15 350MMs
so how about think abrams M774 Pen In game?
Girls_frontline, what?
Maybe leopard 2a4vs type 90?
I guess they are kindof identical though... oh wait
von_Stauffenburg, Type 90 superior round and reload )))
Actually a leopard 2A4 Vs AMX40 would be interesting from you guys ;)
Of course soviet vehicles always aim a bit left of centre anyway.
The idea that an M1 would be more or less unable to frontally defeat a T-72a at ANY range is utterly farcical and not based on any real-world data. Listen, I *served* on M1's in the US Army and I literally LAUGHED at this video when the M1 was unable to kill the T-72, while the T-72 was easily able to defeat the M1. RUSSIAN. BIAS.
Indeed. How many T-72's have been lost in tank on tank combat?
by your answer alone you have never served on a m1 abrams you might have served on an m1a1 or m1a2 but never an m1 first of all diffrences m1a1 and higher have 120mm gun m1 has 105mm gun the t72A and t72B have quite good armor and the t72B2 will not even get penetrated by the m1a2 early ones and the t72B3 needs the m829a4 to kill it due to it having heavy era defeating all but the m829a4 projectiles problem is its era aka dissapears after a shot
Never carry APFSDS rounds for Russian tanks, just use the Fantasy HE-FRAG round that 1 shots every new MBT in game. Would love to see real documents for that round...Wonder when we get the M1A1 or A2 if the upper plate around the drivers hatch will have its true 54 mm thickness? instead of a very thin 38.1mm listed in game.
Not to mention 120mm with DU Sabots
ElMiguelito, the 120mm du sabots arent actually as impressive as you think and many overestimate du compared to tungsten when in reality its a 5% diffrence the m829 for example has a measly 480mm pen the m829a1 has 650mm pen the m829a2 has around 700mm pen and m829a3 has around 750-800mm pen the m829a4 has around the same as m829a3 but improved vs heavy era and angled armor for comparison the WORST shell the leclerc ever had was 650mm pen also the hefrag round needs aim as it can only ohk on the optics
The abrams has better firepower and armor. The &-72A can't pen it, what are you talking about "it can pet the am=brams armor"
