The 27th of January was the day when the Siege of Leningrad was lifted. The Leningrad and Volkhov fronts fought valiantly and threw the enemy back 100 kilometres - Leningrad was finally liberated.
From January 25th (15:00 GMT) to January 28th (07:00 GMT)
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the end of the Siege of Leningrad we have prepared a special event with a RP gain bonus and a special decal.
Take part in air events “Liberation of Leningrad” taking place in the Ladoga location in all game modes with a 30% RP gain bonus.
Arcade battles will be held in [Frontline] format, while RB and SB players will battle in [Operation] mode. This event will use the vehicles that took part in the Leningrad-Novgorod operation (winter 1944).
- Air respawn points are available in the event.
You will receive the “Liberation of Leningrad” decal for one victory in any of the events from the Special.

I think it would be: "For the defence of Leningrad" please see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medal_"For_the_Defence_of_Leningrad"
True - the Germans never took it, which is why it was so heroic!
*erintim, Ye the germans didnt take it in 1941, because they ahd other plans. But in 1941 the city was empty, there was no soldiers only militia.
i cannot wait to get that decal!
The Siege of Lenningrad was a hard fought battle. It's crazy hearing about the stories of the event and the hardships.
I think it would be better if you could get the sticker with tanks.
My Birthday is on January 27 as well! same as the P-38's first flight and the liberation of Auschwitz Camp!
What's the translation of the text on the decal?
For the Defence of Leningrad
