War Thunder: Best Sounds
Attention! Outdated news format. Content may not display correctly.
The roar of powerful aircraft engines, the howl of supercharges, the whirring of hydraulics, the hoarse hiss of pneumatics, the snappish booms of cannons and the frantic rattle of red-hot machine guns...
Do you know these sounds? Then our work was not in vain. As you probably know, we’ve recently released a massive update to air battle audio. We decided that it’s a great opportunity to speak about our favourite sounds in the game!

Gaijin! 2 things. 1: There is a bug where u cant zoom out once you zoom in. Then after a couple times, you get permanently stuck in full zoom mode. Fix it plz! Its getting annoying. 2: Is it possible to allow for 3d decorations? I would like to put a life buoy and an anchor on my boat.
3d decorations exist, you can win them for warbonds, also the bug is because your controls are messed up
AllHailDoge, no u cant put 3d decorations on ur boat, only decals...also i checked wtih my controls and everything is working
Nice video, thx gaijin I like the new sounds
Honestly the new patch took some getting used to for me personally. Until I heard all the under- and overtones with the gunfire, the new M2 Brownings sounded to me like someone put some playing cards into bicycle spokes and the German 7.92mm MGs like someone blowing a raspberry, but then there came those little things like the breech clicking, the belts rattling. Great Job! Only one thing still makes me laugh, please try to fix the Ju 87 B-2 Jericho device. Sounds like an RC plane from outside.
I like so much the sound of the air cut by the shells flying next to you
yes
Not enough creepy whispering. 0/10 ASMR
well tiger tank doesnt sound like tiger, leopard doesnt sound like leopard panther doesnt sound like panther.. its not what it must be what u need to hear in your ears, I know how they sound but not like that, centurion sounds authentic! why only some tanks..
don't know if others have same problem, when in Tank Realistic Battles you are in the plane in the air and a Coellian shots in the same time with other tanks, you hear stutter sound,. is like someone is playing with the volume On and OFF repetitive. very annoying when you are trying to lose your "tail".
...and not to be a total con, i love the sound of any projectile passing next or above your vehicle.
i hate the sound of my team losing when i play allied planes it is not hard to climb
i love the sound of my round penning a russian tank instead of bouncing off like it does a lot
Best is still the 50's on the US tanks but wow, I don't know about the planes. They're so much better. The WT experience has gone off the charts for sound. Can you improve? Probably but this sure was a good upgrade.
