Celebrate Cosmonautics Day in War Thunder
Take part in a special dedicated to the 57th anniversary of manned spaceflight, humankind's’ first foray into space, and receive the “Sputnik” or “Rocket” decals for three victories whilst using any vehicles of ranks 3-5 in random battles.
Yuri Gagarin was a childhood hero for many, he represented the excitement and the adventure for many people around the world at the leading edge of the race into space, the stuff of dreams, he represented all that was good in the human makeup, the need for knowledge, excitement, exploration, he made the spirit of “Where no man has gone before” so relevant and so true before the phrase was used by Gene Roddenberry in Star Trek in 1966.
Decal by Colin 'Fenris' Muir

The decals look great! I got the rocket one but I was hoping to get the Sputnik one. Is there any way to get that one once I've already gotten the other? I couldn't find an option to buy it anywhere.
Niel Armstrong?
I hope you arent serious
Dear Gaijin, I missed this event last year because I didn't have the appropriate planes to participate. This year I still don't have those planes. Please go back in time and make Gargarin and Armstrong tankers. Thanks in advance!
I've been cooling my jets for two months. About time to load up on some rocket fuel and hope to the man in the moon I don't get slaughtered!
Don’t have those units yet :) bummer :}
Is it possible to get both?
Could you clarify something for me? Does "gain 3 air assists in one battle" mean that you have to get three assists while flying the designated aircraft, or that those assists also need to be on aircraft? In other words - do assists on ground vehicles count, or not?
You havent for example explained if you can use a backup F9F2 and continue from where you were
why can you only get one decal? :(
Hahaha I unlocked this earlier today before I even realized it was Cosmonautics Day, not complaining though :) Always awesome to have more unique decals to the game.
