In update 1.71 New E.R.A. we will introduce a lot of new features and one of them is a long anticipated gunner view for aircraft with one gunner position.
In update 1.71 New E.R.A. we implement new camera view for the defensive turret for more than 50 aircraft with one gunner position. The view has been moved as close to the weapon as possible, thus parallax effect is reduced. This view mode is enabled by default, but you can switch back to classic view in the settings.

Will the TBF get this, or does its .30 cal stinger gun disqualify it?
Wow, just wow! That's all I wanted... You could implement turret friendly fire (turret fire capable of hitting own plane parts, like rudder)
the aim should be the aim of the gun not the virtual sight
its a good view and will make it harder to shoot bombers down
Will it eventually be possible to implement these on aircraft with multiple gunners; i want to relive the hours i spent playing "B-17 Flying Fortress" on DS scrambling from station to station to swat those pesky 109's away (Even though the idea of one person doing that is ludicrous).
Will there be an option to turn it on and off?
