On the 8th of May 1945, Allied forces who had fought during the Second World War celebrated “VE Day” or “Victory in Europe Day”. Major cities in most Allied nations, as well as those cities in Western Europe which had formerly been occupied, rejoiced in the defeat of the Nazi war machine with the raising of flags and banners.
German forces lay down their arms and held their fire: In Prague, Germans surrendered to their Soviet counterparts, after the latter had lost more than 8,000 soldiers, and the Germans many more; in Copenhagen and Oslo; at Karlshorst, near Berlin; in northern Latvia; on the Channel Island of Sark — their surrender was complete with a final cease-fire, followed by more surrender documents that were signed in Berlin and East Germany.
Important! We have prepared special events, discounts in the game, special bundles in the Gaijin.Store, tournaments and a real "Weapon of Victory"! Read more:

its sad i want to enjoy the events but i just find them anoying more then anything, its like grinding any normal day only in tanks i wouldnt want to use again for the most part, and that top 200 thing I dont even try anymore as i know im not going to have the patience or time to get on that leaderboard, cant play if i dont pay the bills.

Last year's was much better :P
Howdy Gaijin. The VE events were a lot of fun although I couldn't win any vehicles. It would be nice if yall could reduce the price for each tournament round though, as it got pretty expensive. The little rocket launching thing was very fun, especially when I caught an immobilized enemy. At the end of the event, the rocket launching trucks kept on sniping my hellcat, which was surprising b/c those things didnt look accurate. I could never get the rockets to blow up on the rack for some reason
I need help guys. Should I research the Is-1 or the T-34-85 (tier III) first?
T-34-85
Get my Katyusha with 6kills,XD, Thanks for the great game!
I didn't care too much about prizes, I just enjoied playing realistic battles with a real historical setting. Wish we can see more ofter this kind of events.
