How to receive ”Chronicle awards”
(Access the battles in the event's tab!)
In order to receive prizes, you must complete the event stages in order to achieve “Chronicle awards” which you can complete in the “WW II Chronicles”. You can complete three of the five tasks of your choice:

Conditions:
- You must complete tasks in special battles: Events and tournaments → WW II Chronicles.
- To receive “Chronicle awards” (ground vehicles and aircraft) you need to complete 3 out of 5 tasks for appropriate kind of vehicles. To receive a premium ground vehicle you need to complete the tanker stages, for pilots, to receive an aircraft you need to complete an air battle stage.
- Each stage is active for 2 days and will reset at 11:00 GMT on the third day when a new task will be started.
- “Chronicle awards” which will be marked in gold will be counted as completed.
- You will be able to purchase any missed stage using the in-game store.
- You can follow your progress in “Achievements → WW II Chronicles”

i was with my friend in 4 hours, and i couldnt get the aircraft task done in time. that is why gaijin should make them a LOT less grindy, its like you cant even be with your friends anymore to do these events :(

In the past these special War Thunder special events similar to these were fun, enjoyable and you could at lease have a chance getting SOMETHING.
would it b possible to shift out the get in first place for x amount of matches or get five suporting fire (since that is literally kill stealing), with getting a certain score? that would make it easier for the skilled player and not so grindy.

But now and 99% of all my squadron other players do not even try to do these special events vs in the past they are linked to the normal AB/RB/SB game modes. The list of conditions to get 3 out of 5 tasks is just totally unreasonable. In the past a lot of players played in these special events, so if it was not broken, why did it change? USArmyLTC
plz fix remove the hurricane spam people are just hoping inside of cronwells and rushing the obj getting a kill Jing out and then goes into a hurricane and just rekts the whole team PLZ FIX THIS just do us germans a favor and remove the hurricane from the event
Anyone else having a problem tripping the last gift box? I've got 17 victories in tanks yesterday plus another today, it might be a BA problem but at least 13 of them are solid survival and fighting from start to finish and its not reading in the achievements. About 8 supporting fires, 50 kills so it should have tripped but no luck.
Never mind. I was stuck on 17 + 2 victories in tanks. Its just tripped so it must be a BA problem.
honestly you should make the vehicles in events that were not won be put on the premium part of the game so players can purchase them. I know i would like to buy a few from past events.

I've tried doing the events, but I can't see any method of tracking my progress towards each stage. Is there any way of tracking my progress that I'm just missing, or is there no such feature in the game currently? Love your game btw, keep up the great work!
Also, this first part of the chronicles is probably the most atrociously balanced event yet. How are the British and Americans supposed to kill Tigers with such powerful tanks as the Matilda, with its 2-pounder gun, or the M3 Lee?
