Dear players!
The event, which we started for the 1st of April has come to an end, but our work on War Thunder continues.
We thank you for your feedback, it was very nice to read them!
This testing was successful in the first place because many of the mechanics in War Thunder have already been implemented before: X-Ray view, ATGMs, different types of shells, their distribution in the vehicle etc. War Thunder was ready for modern vehicles. New mechanics, which were implemented specially for the event will be tested for main game modes in War Thunder.
Implementation of such a mission was only possible with support, which you give us every day. Thanks to all the hundreds and thousands of people that helped us to test IXth rank. It was an absolute record among all of our 1st of April events by the number of players alone.
See you on the battlefield!
The War Thunder Team

Does this mean you're working on cold war stuff? Like bringing back the Korean map to SB, and possibly a combined mode like this with helicopters?
The death of WoT
eAWHEN DO WE WANT IT WE WANT IT NOW JUST PUT IN THE GAME WE WILL PAY
That event was so special because everything worked shockingly well. For a tiny 3 day event, it was pretty high quality. For a tiny 3 day event, it could have a pretty large impact on the future of WT.
Please a word about planes ?
I loved it! No wonder I've played this game only for 4 years now - it just keeps getting better in my opinion. If I wasn't having a blast all that time, I wouldn't still be here!
I wouldn't expect Modern vehicles in WT but would expect a different publish for modern vehicles.
I don't think I want modern vehicles in Wat Thunder. It is for ww2 to the cold war. It would just kind of ruin the "feel" of the game. Also grinding to tier 5 takes many months, tier 9 would be impossible to reach without spending hundreds of dollars. Maybe modern vehicles should be in another game altogether.
Thanks for this! Please add smoke nades in the game now. Also, I want the flapjack. gimme my flying breakfast!!
So it wasn't such a joke after all x3
