Dear players!
The event, which we started for the 1st of April has come to an end, but our work on War Thunder continues.
We thank you for your feedback, it was very nice to read them!
This testing was successful in the first place because many of the mechanics in War Thunder have already been implemented before: X-Ray view, ATGMs, different types of shells, their distribution in the vehicle etc. War Thunder was ready for modern vehicles. New mechanics, which were implemented specially for the event will be tested for main game modes in War Thunder.
Implementation of such a mission was only possible with support, which you give us every day. Thanks to all the hundreds and thousands of people that helped us to test IXth rank. It was an absolute record among all of our 1st of April events by the number of players alone.

This event was so amazing and I got really really wet when I started to think about a possible tech tree for moder War Thunder For example Germany: Leopard 1A5 / OF-40 / C2 Mexas / Kpz-70 / Leopard 2 A0-A7+ (Maybe even the 140mm gun prototype) / Leopard 2 "Rheinmetall Evolution" -> Premiums maybe: Polish PL-01 / Japanese Type 10 (Hitomarushikisensha) / Japanese Type 90 (Kyūmarushikisensha) / French LeClerc -> What about a Jagdpanzer Jaguar 1/2 or even the Marder, Pum...
It is Leclerc not LeClerc! Also there is the Leclerc Serie 1, Serie 2 ,Serie XXI and the UAE version to choose from. I think all the tanks that arent crewed by nations that are already implemented (i.e. UK US Germany Russia Japan) should be premium vehicles if their tier is not too high (ie the last tier).

I think this is the most compelling evidence that Warthunder could easily expand to encompass the modern era.
This event was just epic. I cant wait to play with the T90A, Leopard 2A5, Mi 35, GH 64 again. A Leclerc Serie 2 would be nice as a premium if the french do not get implemented.
Thank you guys, i loved it!! I really hope the helicopters get put in. only think i would change would make them spawn on like .5-1k behind the tanks and give then a about to leave battle field like tanks. i think their map size was a little to big. Should be bigger then tanks but smaller then planes.
