today's devs please.
Thx, but no (
DisconnecT83, waaaaaaaaaaa......
Will we ever see a 5th line for the US Aircraft and British ground forces? Maybe a heavy fighter line for the US and a Commonwealth Tank line that focuses on tanks that Britain helped develop in Canada and Australia.
Why does no one want this. The American fighter line is so crowded and we need more British tanks!
pokenaut7, Give us more and better japense fighters thats what we truly need
Cool addition for the War Thunder wiki :D
I wish you guys added a way to see the cammo of the vehicle before spawning into a map
I just read in the article: "Blowing up tank ammo racks is rather difficult. Even a direct hit might only just destroy the shells and make them useless, in which case they just disappear (and they can no longer be used in combat). " I never saw this happening in AB. OR did I just miss it in over 800h of playing this game?
thats true, the problem is that the chances of ammo rack not exploding ingame with a direct hit is... like 0,0001% rather than lose the shells.. ive player like 1300 hours this game and as far as ive seen, i can say 45% is ammo rack kill 35% crew knocked out and 20% tank burned down
sarevockk, got to use APHE for that to happen it works with heat and once you hit an ammo rack it turns black so it wont matter how many times you hit it afterwards,i usually pop tanks via ammorack 70% of the time
Can we expect crew injuries to have an effect on crew efficiency in SB and maybe in RB (to less extent). I bet tanker or pilot would not perform as well with a 50 cal hole in a stomach despite the fact that he is alive ;)
I find this to already be the case especially in RB. Just like a damaged engine won't move you that well, an severely injured gunner won't turn the turret/gun as fast (about one-third the speed) and a injured loader will take longer to load the cannon.
JackRob7, what he meant is yellow/red crew, not dead ones.
can you make some English videos for the YouTube channel though. that would be grate
It's already planned (videos from wiki team). Just follow the news and you will be on top ;)
No devblog today?
in your artikle is a big mistake the gunbreach is not for aiming it is the guns cradle , the gun breech is a very sturdy piece of highqualety mettal and i doubt if it could be hit by enemy schrapnell. more realistic would be after a substantial number of shots the hydraulics recoil an forward assist cilinders wil suffer from overheating oil , ist happend in the war that germans shooting large numbers of russian tanks had to stop shooting becaus of overheating. ( technical training turret leo1)
No your read incorrectly it said that the breech is for ARMING the gun with shells etc. Not AIMING..

Love how the wiki doesn't mention "yellow" levels of damage, yet try firing a gun when it's yellow and cry as your vehicle explodes due to a breach block. GG Gaijin.
