In the next major War Thunder update, we're going to add a very unusual location for air Arcade mode that we've named Guiana Highlands. Battles at this location will start at altitudes of more than 6,000 meters above sea level, with the entire area divided into stages, each with its own targets and unique requirements for waging battle.
Our artists came up with the idea for the location after learning about Mount Roraima in Brazil. This unique mountain with a flat summit is a true natural wonder – a gargantuan mountain plateau rising up against the landscape. The plateau is partially obscured by a huge cloud that constantly hangs over Mount Roraima. This place inspired the great Arthur Conan Doyle to pen his iconic novel “The Lost World,” it’s a truly mysterious corner of our planet!

This is in Venezuela
So many people complaining about this map, but did anyone actually read the description? Staged battles, with different objective for each stage? The means a wave of bombers won't end it in 5 minutes. If map and match design continues like this we're going to have dynamic matches soon. I love this
just ignore the rb trolls
so will there be different ground vehicles for Attackers...like T-Rex and Triceratops?...ME 109 gets taken out by a Pterodactyl ?
Great looking map, should make for some quite unique game-play. I like the use of the QTVR style views as well. I hope there will be some dinosaurs lurking in a quiet nook or cranny (as Easter eggs!) or maybe some strangely prehistoric 'birds' gliding around. ; )
Only de 5% or Roraima is in Brazil, 80% is in Venezuela. The height is not 6,000 meters, but a maximum of 2,800 meters. It's amazing that you screw up like this :/ (face palm)
we don't need new map we need new vehicles.
How can i buy bf 109 g2 premium ?
6000m spawn? Seems interesting, a purpose to use high altitude planes :P
"Our artists came up with the idea for the location after learning about Mount Roraima in Brazil" More like "Our artists came up with the idea for the location after UP was the only in-flight movie available"
No location have something new. It is always a clash of a mixture of aircraft with no strategy.
