In the next major War Thunder update, we're going to add a very unusual location for air Arcade mode that we've named Guiana Highlands. Battles at this location will start at altitudes of more than 6,000 meters above sea level, with the entire area divided into stages, each with its own targets and unique requirements for waging battle.

Our artists came up with the idea for the location after learning about Mount Roraima in Brazil. This unique mountain with a flat summit is a true natural wonder – a gargantuan mountain plateau rising up against the landscape. The plateau is partially obscured by a huge cloud that constantly hangs over Mount Roraima. This place inspired the great Arthur Conan Doyle to pen his iconic novel “The Lost World,” it’s a truly mysterious corner of our planet!

They actually did add a map for RB a while ago, the new Battle of Britain version with Northern France. And I'm pretty sure there's a big Moscow map also. Have you seen these maps in rotation? I didn't... Do you remember that there's a Malta map? But hey, getting Norway 3 times in a row is more fun :|
Dege, Thats not a new map, thats just making an old one bigger.. Imagine a map with nature like this in RB? All RB maps are just flat.
So is Air RB dead for another patch? We need some new maps added to the queue instead of Norway 7/10 games.

this better have a solid frequency to show up too, the greece map shows up too rarely and graphic effect really don't look good as it turns out, and some recent patches past year may have nerfed fps

pokenaut7, It is just the game mode i enjoy the least. Also grinding in AB isn't better, since you get less RP for modifications.

But Bazil only owns about 5% of mount Roraima, most of it is Venezuelian
pls add more RB maps for air realistic mode
start at 6+K high ? That was unexpected, will be nice to use some high perfs altitude planes that should do very well there. Waiting to see more about this one. A very welcome change for AB battles,.

Exactly, the height is not 6,000 meters, but a maximum of 2,800 meters Only de 5% or Roraima is in Brazil, 80% is in Venezuela. It's amazing that they screw up like that
Broncosoft, "Our artists came up with the idea for the location" ... it's not the same location, it's inspired by it. Just like English Shore is heavily 'inspired'.
