Dear players,
Japanese ground forces testing is running and today we are unlocking Japanese ground vehicles of rank 3, they are now available for research and purchase, we also introduce a new Japanese premium tank, the Chi-Nu II with a Type 5 cannon.
Unlocking vehicles of rank 3 means that players may now join Simulator battles. Line-ups for combined battles have been updated. Japanese ground vehicles will become available in Squadron battles after the test is over.
Also, today is the last day when you can gain shuriken to unlock full access to Japanese ground vehicles testing! You can still join the test after today by purchasing one of the packs with premium vehicles: CHI-HA 12cm Advanced or Heavy Tank №6 Advanced Pack
Good luck on the battlefield!

Gaijin i think this tank would be better at tier 2, at about a BR of 3.5-4.0 drop about 500 eagles off the price and you will make a premium tank that A: will curb some frustration players have been having with the under armored and under gunned low tier Japanese tanks and that will, in turn cause B: a premium tank more people will be willing to buy I know i will, if the above mentioned conditions are changed, but as is, this tank will become yet another frustrating low/mid rank Japanese tank.
Low end BR Japanese tanks have really good guns with a ton post penetration effect on their shell. I had no trouble ranking up, didn't even need my daily boost nor premium for it.
Ditto to what Luminoth said ... They're glass cannons, so yes, you have to avoid getting shot. Even a nick can freeze your turret and send you into repair mode. But the kills you can get with the Type 5 and even the Type 3 75 mm ... they're so delicious. They kind of feel like Junior T-34s. I've been finishing in the top three of the leaderboard almost every game, and haven't had this much fun since researching the Russian tanks.
BR 4.3 ???? WHAT A JOKE. How dissapointed, i was waiting for this tank for weeks and they gave it the same BR as chi-to which has much better armor, speed, turret traverse and everything ? This tank is not comparable to any tank of its BR. Chi-Nu is a low tier tank, the gun isn't special since it can only has APHE with 145mm pen and no APCR like pz iv, sherman or T-34. Sorry i will have to keep my money and see if anything going to change, this is stupid.
So why is the tank a 4.3 when the Chi-To is better in every way? Wouldnt 4.0 be fairer for it?
i would say 3.7, the same BR as PZ IV F2.
why is this a BR of 4.3 when the chi-to is better and can be normally researched the only thing this tank is to show off that you bought eagles to buy it either the tank should have better speed or to be like an extra armor upgrade that makes the tank better that the Chi-To. Also you could just drop the BR to 3.7 or maximum 4.0.
It's mine, was waiting for it, but extremely surprised by the BR in AB, same as Chi-To while having way less armor, less speed too... Not sure how this will end up in game, not like the Chi-TO is useful when it comes to armor tho, especially since it can be penetrated frontally by 12.7mm MG's where it should have 95mm of armor accumulated ... Well let's see how this turns out but was expecting 3.7-4.0 at max...
and also slower turret speed than Chi-To, wondering now if i should just have bought a talisman for the Chi-TO and spare some 400 GE's...
Kanay, also slower turret than CHI-NU....
4.3?? Sorry guys but you dun goofed....
When I read that the Chi-Nu II is now available, I decided to spend my last GE to buy this tank ... and I don't think that this was a bad decision. First battle 7-0 Kills :D ... It's a small and agile tank with a good weapon, I like it! ;)
Will rank 4 and 5 vehicles also get unlocked progressively? Or does one require a pack or the 12 shurikens to play them at all? Finally, would it be possible to buy the daily shurikens with golden eagles? I've managed to do only 10 and since it ends today it would be a shame to throw all that hard work away.
Yes, once the CBT is over they will all be available. Instead of buying shurikens, I would think you would be better off buying one of the premium tanks instead. The Chi-Ha is only $14.99 US. Buying this will get you access to the CBT.
Probably should have had a BR of 4.0 instead of 4.3. It may have the same gun as the Chi-To, but it only has 2/3 the armor and 4/5 the KPH travel speed and it's turret is slightly slower to turn and it has a 1 degree worse gun depression. Still more Japanese tanks are helpful in filling out our tank roster.
BR 4.3? Really? Are you kidding me? I anxiously await this tank since it's announcement and this is what you give us? Why in god's name is it 4.3 - the same BR as the superior Chi-To? Why would I not just use the Chi-To instead? The Na-To is 3.3 - and it is equipped with the same cannon as the Chi-To - so why would the inferior Chi-Nu base with Chi-To's gun be the same exact BR as it? Are you kidding me? Absolutely ridiculous.
exactly what I thought
