Have you ever considered how the virtual instructor influences your aircraft? Perhaps keen to learn more about the control methods available to you in War Thunder?
The aircraft Instructor is the unsung hero of many War Thunder battles. This virtual companion is with you on each and every combat sortie and translates the commands you input from your mouse, keyboard, controller or joystick in realtime to the control methods of your aircraft.
Learning the abilities, limitations and options the instructor offers as well as how to make the most out of your chosen control method can often be the difference between a swift return to the hanger and climbing the ranks to fly with the best. Pilots transitioning, perhaps from Arcade Battles to Realistic, especially will want to make the most out of the options available to them, that give them the ability to get the best performance out of their aircraft, no matter their control method.
Even Tank Commanders can benefit, as all ground forces vehicles have their own unique version of the instructor that helps keep the vehicle on the right track to victory!

The only thing I find instructor good for is making me crash when trying to land a damaged aircraft in RB :D
From the Wiki (my caps): "The ailerons, marked by the letter A and located on the rear edge of the wing close to the wingtips – these provide control over the TANK on its rolling angle" Good to know when out flying your tank! :)
Best to disable all instructor options they hinder not help
'Check out our dedicated Instructor Wikipedia' you mean your wiki page? This is your Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Thunder Wikipedia isn't a generic term, it is a very specific website. Wiki is the generic term you were looking for.
I don't need to wonder. I know that it annoyed the hell out of me. So, I disabled it.
If you use mouse-aim the instructor still flies your aircraft. Your mouse does not move the control-surfaces (although keys do). When you move the mouse you tell the instructor where you want it to go and it does the rest. You only disabled certain instructor services like keeping you off the ground.
