Dear friends! For many players, personal success is no less important than their team’s success. We understand these feelings, and so, we would like to introduce an update for personal statistics. In effect, this will be an expanded list of your achievements and may be displayed individually for each game mode in War Thunder.
The new personal statistics will consist of 6 rating tables (1 each per game mode) and will reflect:
- Victories percentage
- Average relative position in the team
- PvP Rating
- Number of destroyed enemy player controlled vehicles/ number of respawns
- Number of destroyed enemy AI controlled vehicles/ number of respawns
- Average amount of points gained in battles
In order to allow the leaderboard to work properly, statistics will be reset.
To make it easier for you to adapt to the new statistics, we will keep the old variant for some time, but later, it will be completely removed.

Bombing takes more than hitting space bar. Thats like saying tanks is just hitting left mouse button..
So all my stats will be reset? I'm surprisingly okay with this. I've been wanting to start with a new slate without making a new account.
I'm okay with this because I have started GF with USA and shermans had BR 5.7 and fought with tigers 2 again and again... and matchmaking was terrible back then
Your stats will remain untouched. So when they reset the leader boards you should go right into the correct place. They do this every time they change what's in the leader board lists.

Frankly the stats over the last 3 years are so messed up from FOTM and other issues that I dont mind the reset.
A very important statistic that is missing here is the kill ratio : nb of player controlled vehicles destroyed / number of death
Number of destroyed enemy player controlled vehicles/ number of respawns
A despawn (repair then jump out into another vehicle or just a change of loadout) is counted as respawn, right? A refuel in the Komet is probably also counted as respawn. This would be the difference between respawns and number of lost vehicles. As a plus side - it's harder to boost the K/D by simply running away for the entire game, since as soon as you spawn - you are considered dead. Unfortunately, spawning just before the end of the game is still a big stats punishment.
I'm not here to complain about a reset , there will be enough comment about that already but what exactly changed from previous leaderboard ? because I really don't see what is new.
If you reset my stats then how is that catering to the players that care about their stats? Most players want stats from start to present of their WT career. I take pride in my player card saying I've played 5k RB and only 200 AB. Showing 2/1 KD in my D13 and most of my tanks. With these things gone, for anyone who loves WT like everyone who's reading this post, then this is really really really heartbreaking. I hope you guys change your mind and I think everyone else does too.
For all those that complain on reset : only the leaderboard is reseted, not the player card (including global number of battles played) nor the service record
Why not archive the old stats? And why not include kill assists in the new stats?

Your stats will remain untouched. So when they reset the leader boards you should go right into the correct place. They do this every time they change what's in the leader board lists. All your planes and tanks will remain as is.
@Senio Maybe edit the post a bit to say that it's only the leaderboard stats not peoples personal stats. That should stop the people who understanding from throwing hate at you guys.
