There is one thing that you CANNOT do during the New Year - get bored. We have prepared lots of opportunities for you to enjoy yourselves in your favourite game during the holidays. One of them is an automated rating 2x2 tournament. We have already tested it in December and brought some changes for the available aircraft. And, of course we have added some prizes this time! Everyone can join in, try your luck!

To participate, go to the tab "Events and Tournaments" and select [Duel] Aviation 2v2 mode!

Rules:

1. The tournament starts on December 26th at 13:00 GMT and will last till January 8th 21:00 GMT 2015.

2. Each new participant begins with a rating of 0 and earns points by victories, depending on the other participants’ ratings.

3. The matchmaker for the tournament will balance your opponents and allies based on your current rating.

4. If you choose to play in a squad of 2 - you will be balanced with a player who has the highest rating in the squad.

5. In arcade and realistic battles all fighter aircraft will be available except for premium vehicles and the following aircraft: Fw.190A-4, Ki-43-I, Ki-43-II and A6M2-N.

6. In Simulator Battles, 1 aircraft will be available. Every day at 21:00 GMT the aircraft will be changed in the following order:

• USSR: Yak-1B
• Japan: Ki-61-I ko
• USA: F6F-3
• Germany: Bf.109F-2
• Britain: Spitfire Mk.Ia

7. The first aircraft/nation change will be on december 26th at 21:00 GMT (from USSR to Japan).

8. If you don’t take part in the tournament for seven days you lose 10% of gained rating value. After 14 days you lose another 10% so your rating will be 80% of the gained value.

9. The administration reserves the right to refuse to award participants in the total statistics where the number of flights to three or more times greater than the number killed enemies.

The rest of the rules are simple - play, have fun and win!

Prizes:

1. The best 10 pilots in each mode will get 5000  plus an I-301 fighter and the M8A1 SPG which can be gained during the Holiday Marathon!

2. The best 100 pilots will get 500 

3. The best 1000 players in arcade and realistic, and the best 100 in simulator will get a unique title - 2v2 Duelist!

-Prizes will be given out within a week after the tournament is over. If a player hits the top in 2 modes - he will have double the reward.

-A player’s place in in the tournament is defined by rating in the leaderboard.

-If you have already won the I-301 or M8A1 during the Holiday Marathon no additional compensation is given.
