About the Dolgushin’s La-7

  • Hero of the Soviet Union Sergey Fyodorovich Dolgushin was the commander of the 156th Fighter Aviation Regiment, which received brand-new La-7 fighters toward the end of the war. Dolgushin’s specific La-7 variant is distinguished by its unique camouflage. This aircraft is designed for combat at low altitudes, where it fully retains its excellent flight characteristics. Its forward-firing armament consists of two 20 mm ShVAK cannons with a wide variety of ammunition belts.

La-11 (USSR, Rank IV)

About the La-11

  • The La-11 is a long-range escort fighter designed for extended flights and equipped with a substantial fuel supply. It performs best at altitudes up to 4,000 meters. It compensates for its lack of maneuverability with powerful firepower: three 23 mm NS-23 cannons are ready to destroy any adversary, including bombers.
